ttallan:I'm from Scarborough. We're going in July, yay! I've been a fan since their second album came out, but this will be my first concert! I used to live in downtown Toronto, and used to walk by Massey Hall every day. I have distinct memories of seeing the band's name on the marquee, but I wasn't much of a concert-goer back then. I kick myself now, thinking that I missed out on that opportunity of getting to see the boys play at a venue only a few blocks away from my apartment! Well, it's a longer drive now, but I'm glad to finally get my chance!
I know what you're sayin... they've been one of my favorites since Up came out... but I've never been much of a concert goer either... so the first time I've ever seen them live was on the cruise last month - and they were SO fantastic live that now I'm hooked.
Got the priviledge of being right up front close to the stage for all three shows they played on the cruise... and getting to meet the boys off stage as well... they really made the whole concert experience come alive.
Thus the reason I'm travelling all the way down to Jersey to see them tomorrow - lol. But it's cheap and it's a smaller venue... so it will end up costing me the same amount for 2 full days (including hotel) that it would cost me to see them in Toronto.
