I just got off the phone with my credit card complany, some a$$hat has been trying to use my card online for $500 and $600 purchases online.  The upside is that they got suspicious and shut the sucker DOWN.  The downside is my card has been reported stolen, and until my replacement arrives, I have no credit card.  So please, DON'T announce a Halifax show and presale for a week and a half or so!  Thanks!

Well, this is a grand, grand day. Partly because it's International Talk Like a Pirate Day. (link) 

And partly because . . . it's this very lucky New Yorker's birthday! :)

I fully expect a birthday shanty sung to me in a pirate voice . . . if not by GBS, then by everyone who is near me at the concert :)
 

As much as I LOVE the price points on some of the US fest dates ($5 or Free!!), I am REALLY geeked about seeing some theatre dates appearing.  YIPPEE!!  And completely lovin' the Midwest swing!  Hmmm...  need to check the vacation bank.
