itznic ... hi ... correct me if I'm wrong, but there is a Sarah Harmer / Sean McCann duet on"Road Rage" ...

That's right! She sings Captain Wedderburn with the boys on Road Rage. She also opened for them for a number of shows across North America around that time. She's totally awesome.

wait, i do have that song i believe.....she doesnt sing on the recorded version though right? I went on itunes and listened to the one on road rage, the live one....thats why i never heard it, because i downloaded the recorded version instead of the live one..

anything worth having is worth some sacrifice....

itznic ... you should really have the complete Road Rage album in you library - it was one of my first GBS albums and it captured me right away ... and although we have so many new live recordings I still love to listen to it ...

Re: Ships and Dip III Videos

Wow. Thank you for sharing those. I've been waiting to hear Tonight again, ever since I heard it in NYC. I love that song to death. And I don't know how, but Ed and Steve managed to do ALL my random favorites in there. I've always loved Told You So, I Don't Get It Anymore, and He Makes Me Want Her Again and they don't get played often enough. Understandable for the last one, since Ed didn't write it for himself, but still.

Thank you Tinkerbell, great videos!!!  Wish I went.  The videos really get the sense especially the songwriters session. How cool. Thaks for doing that.

I also want to say a big Thank you Tinkerbell for posting the videos. I was there but it's great to be able to re-live it all. You get so caught up in the moment that you forget things.

It's also very strange to watch yourself watching a concert. I'm in the hat right in front of Sean's mic for the Speedo song.

I want to be back on the boat...

Re: Ships and Dip III Videos

Tinkerbell, thank you so much for posting the Song Writer's videos!  After songwriters, Muppetcoat told me that Alan had been there AND had played Straight to Hell.  I was really bummed, but at least I can watch video now! Big Smile

    Two more videos up:

Chemical Worker's Song (Process Man) (Apologies for the loud screaming at beginning and end.  I usually tried to NOT end up on any of my own video, but I couldn't help myself this time embarrased)

Carbon Leaf - Let Your Troubles Roll By

    Still to come:

GBS:  Sail Away Robe Entrance, General Taylor (w/Carbon Leaf), Down Under, Walk on the Moon

Carbon Leaf:  American Tale, Another Man's Woman, What About Everything

Jam Session, Guster, BNL rarities, side projects, Brothers Creeggan, etc.

    But for just one night
Wouldn't it be great, if the band just never ended?

So funny!  They actually mentioned the matching shorts themselves and then taking a play off that weekly article in the supermarket tabloid,  InTouch Weekly, my friend and I yelled out, "But who wore it better?" and then they both preened and posed -- I think it was a toss-upBig Smile

Re: Ships and Dip III Videos

Everyone is so busy posting their videos I thought I'd post my 'starring role' in a little film made while I was in Florida.  As most of you know, I was in Miami just ahead of the cruise at a World Orchid Conference. We took a few days at the family condo on Sanibel earlier in January. One of my best friends (and travelling companions) is quite a talented and has a great sense of humour. He put this little film together after a windy walk on the beach. He said "It was a 'Bergmanesque' kind of day." I hope you see the humour he intended and laugh with me.

Hi Daisy ... if there's a video on YouTube you would like to download to your computer, go on the "KeepVid" website and use the download function there ... this works fine for me! If you work on a Mac you also need iSquint (freeware) to convert the download to a Mac compatible format ... don't hesitate to ask if you need  help ...
