Yes, Great Big Sea has played in Canada recently.  They just haven't played Canada recently.  For about 2 years for most places.   We miss seeing the b'ys :)

I'm happy there is a new tour date.  Glad you can go this round Trace!

First time I've had a chance to see them in years and the tickets are sold out already, and the website kept reserving them all day for other people or something. Spent the past few hours trying to get the blasted things only to see the levels sell out and now I can't even get three tickets in the 300 level let alone the 100 level I was trying for. Any other way to get tickets or is that dream crushed >.>?

I believe this is just the presale, so it is jsut the presale tickets that are sold out not all of the tickets, I am guessing they will be for sale on ticketmaster (or the canadian eqv.) soon.

Don't worry NoRemorse. There is only a limited amount of tickets available through any given presale.  The Molson Amphitheatre hasn't even listed their 2008 concert series yet and the date has yet to be listed on TicketMaster.  I'm sure that there will be some sort of announcement prior to the public on-sale date.

Hello all!  Greetings from Indiana.  Just want to boast that I got 2 tickets to Great Big Sea in Toronto during the presale!!  100 level seats.  I'm so excitied!  This will be my first time in Canada.  Can't wait!

I read that general public tickets would be on sale in March.  Good luck to all!  I look forward to the seeing the boys of course....this will be a first for me.....and I look forward to the Candadian hospitality and all of the fans that will be there singing and dancing!

Ok... missed the presale... and the GA sale yesterday.

Was only able to get 1 ticket in section 202 row D... which is alot further back than I had hoped.

It seems the 100 level are either sold out or reserved.

Does anyone have an extra ticket in the front 100 levels that they'd be willing to sell?

I played around and it seems like mainly 400-level and lawn seats. Not as close to the boys as you might like, but I love sitting in the grass to watch shows at the Amphitheatre - especially on a hot summer night!
