The best thing to do would be to tell Sixthman how much you liked GBS on board, and also join the S&D message board and post in the threads about GBS! The more Sixthman and BNL see that GBS was enjoyed, the more likely it is to have them back!!

Nice pictures John!  Aren't you the popular one?!  Ahhhh, it went by too quickly.  Well, I have another GBS concert on tap in less than a month and I've found a few other bands/musicians that were on the ship that are touring through DC in the coming weeks, so that should be fun, too.  I'm loving watching all the videos that people posted and reliving the experience! 

Tina, I'm in for next year if GBS is on board!

WOOHOO! That's awesome Sheila. Come on John...choose to cruise! I'm actually more excited about next year's cruise, when my youngest will be 1. I'll have had a LOT more sleep beforehand and be back to normal energy levels. Can't wait. It sounds like Sixthman will be putting the S&DV cruise on sale towards the end of March. I think I'm equally excited about seeing Carbon Leaf again. Don't think I'll have the opportunity to see them between now and then. Crossing my fingers that GBS and CL are back on board. I'd really like to see Sarah Harmer return too. I love her brand of smart bluegrassy sweetness.

oh dear lord!  I couldn't see the entire photo at work when I first commented on them.  I had no idea, I was in one of them    I love the last one of you, Alan and Fran! 

The four of us that went on S&D III are definately going if GBS is on board. I have a few other friends who want to come to, again if GBS goes. I wish Alan would post something about what they thought about the criuse. They all certainly acted like they were having a good time. A

It looked to me that all the bands were having a blast on the cruise. I think the only reason GBS might not make it next year is that the new CD is dropping in June and I am sure they are planning a hugh tour to support the album. I hope they are able to make time for cruise if the schedule permits

I hate to point this out, but so far, CL is only booked for TRB.  Lauren (at Sixthman) told me that the only bands currently confirmed for S&D V are BNL and their side projects....but here's hoping for a CL double booking and for GBS.

I'm pretty sure if GBS is asked back to S&D, they'd do it over TRB.  On one of the other forums I frequent, it was mentioned that GBS had been asked to do TRB repeatedly, but they didn't want to and they did S&D because they were invited by BNL and felt more comfortable doing it.

 

TRB IX = The Rock Boat Nine.  It's one of Sixthman's other cruises.  I think it's their original cruise, actually.
