Re: Ships and Dip cruise - just amazing !
annaonthemoon79:right. So I've finally watched the snippet of Alan noticing my sign uninterrupted, and I realized he said he "felt the love" and Sean said "it's a spiritual thing" and then Alan says "no, it's dirty" just. !!!!!. Yeah, that about sums it up.
Oh, I remember that! It was hilarious. Alan was just ON IT that day/night. It's like he realized it was the last day and totally cut loose. He rocks :)

That was awesome, Becca!!!! Nothing beats getting some love from the boys! :D
And there is even a picture of you with your little sign on the sixthman photographer website. Can't remember which day though. Have you seen it?

I have seen it! That was actually taken after the third GBS show. Will had seen it and wanted to get a photo of it...he took something like five shots, it was hilarious.

Estelle - you're tag line at the bottom "GBS rocks my world" made me laugh! I got a little star struck on the cruise and had trouble getting up the nerve to go talk to Alan... he ate lunch right beside me... just the two of us in that section on Monday... and I ran into him a number of times and merely smiled and said hi... Well by the time I actually got up the nerve to go talk to him and ask for a picture I had had a little too much to drink... I sputtered out a bunch of unintelligle things and then blurted out "Alan - you rock my world!" lol. I had all these great questions and things I wanted to say... and that's the only thing that managed to come out. and your tag just brought that to mind again. lol

Re: Ships and Dip cruise - just amazing !
Here's a fast one of Alan poppin' open a can of vitamin G, and wonders if he broke the microphone, hehe, pretty funny. Also available on my Vimeo site in HD in the future. Early this morning it had a 605 minute wait in the queue to get encoded, but now that time is down to 495 minutes (l-o-n-g ) minutes. Enjoy !

Re: Ships and Dip cruise - just amazing !
Hey JennyB, I'm glad I was able to remind you on when you met Alan.
The only time I met Alan was when he was running to the gym after the naked photo shoot. He didn't do it, but was probably waiting for everybody to clear up the lido deck to access the gym area.
My friend and I were in our robe and then we looked around and he was there, right in front of us. :D
That was kind of a cool moment, we asked for a picture, but he was in a hurry to get to the gym and said so, but as he was walking backward telling us all that, he almost fell on a lounge chair that was behind him.
So, not the greatest moment ever. But still better than nothing.
After that, I hoped to meet Sean and Alan to thank them for everything they do, but it never happened... Because our paths never crossed again on the cruise. Hopefully, next time! :D

Re: Ships and Dip cruise - just amazing !
Thanks Christina Oh boy, I don't know what got into me ! LOL, I just wanted to something silly for Kelly, hehe, anyway, she gave me permission to pop it up on UToobie, so I did. By the way, my latest video video finally got encoded about 45 mins ago, and it's finally online in glorious HD, make sure you go full-screen on this one ! ( bottom corner of video, click on "full" , if one's computer can't handle it, you can click the "hd-on" button to turn HD off, and still watch it full screen. Re: Ships and Dip cruise - just amazing !
Just wanted to let you know that I'v uploaded The Chemical Worker's song: http://www.vimeo.com/743330 Go Boys Go ! To view full screen, press the "full" in the bottom right corner of the video. Also: Press 'play' , and then press "pause" , and let the video load up fully, then press "play" once again, if you really want it to play without any stuttering. If your computer doesn't play the video correctly at full screen in HD, you can also turn HD off, or just press "esc" to watch it at a smaller size.
It's also on my UToobie site: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IwcSgbm9EA

Re: Ships and Dip cruise - just amazing !
Hi Jenny B, Thanks for the kind words , sorry for the late reply. It's nice to hear that I'm making hearts happy. Tonight ( Saturday night, March 15, 2008 ) I'm watching the second Great Big Sea concert in its entirety which is really nice. I have both the 2nd and 3rd Great Big Sea concerts taped, every moment, from start to finish, so it's like I have 2 brand new DVD concerts to watch. When you have 90 whatever minutes on each concert to watch it really gets you into a rhythm and it's great, - it really IS like watching a full brand new concert. I taped them all in HD full 1080p so the quality is way better than any DVD, which is really an added bonus. Frosty.

Re: Ships and Dip cruise - just amazing !
Hi there Christina Ah ! you noticed that eh ! , you are a good detective ! And yes, I have so much more video to upload, and I'll do that during the next months. I have so much I have not even encoded - as_of_yet, but will do so. I'm glad you are enjoying the uploads I have uploaded thus far !
Just so ya know, I also posted "Run RunAway" in 720p HD on www.vimeo.com here: http://www.vimeo.com/784393 and tonight, my wife and I are watching the 2nd night-time concert, here's a bit of video of us being silly ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_CB1drH1cY p.s. - I'm trying to get Great Big Sea to do a Kitchen Party at my house in the upcoming year, and if I succeed , everyone is invited !! ( the kitchen party may be on my back deck, but I can accommodate about 100 people or more ! ) Frosty

Re: Ships and Dip cruise - just amazing !
Yeah, Frosty ... I was actually the third one to click on this in YouTube! It's so great that you recorded so much ... AND that you share it! I hope (I guess) you enjoyed the concerts, although you watched them mainly through the lens of you camera??? OMG ... your post scriptum sounds like a great plan ... but if the b'ys cannot come in the near future (although I believe they would love it), how about organizing a fan party on your porch, showing your exellent cruise recordings with a beamer on a big screen ... in case you repeat your invitation: I'll be there! Cheers ... Christina
