one ? question

I wonder how much the b'ys spent on there drinks. all the pics i saw and videos they were always drinking?????

Oh Caitlyn! LOL. No one wants to look at their bar bill. Trust me.

The boys, at least, received free rounds and drinks occasionally. Most of the rest of us started out the week saving our drink receipts, so we could double check our tab (something you can do at any time on one of the TV channels in the room).

Let's just say, that little practice started to feel like tax season looming by mid-week. Adam and I were not the heaviest drinkers on board by a long shot and we spent over $500 combined easily.

There is no last call in international waters. And, the drinks weren't cheap. Except for the buckets of beer during happy hour which were $10 for 4 Miller Lite or $14 for 4 Coronas.

If you were drinking liquor you had to specify the house brand too, unless you wanted premium by choice or default.

My drink charges were $12.  I had a few beers that other people bought me,and I brought wine on board, but other than that, I was too busy dancing around and having fun to be drinking!  I even missed the free drinks at the captain's party!

I know at one point during the last GBS show, they had a bucket of Corona on stage, a bucket of Guiness, and a bunch of other assorted beers kept being passed up onto stage, so I know they didn't pay for any of those!

For my wife and I, we spent just over $400, which kept me feeling rather "jolly" most of the time LOL, and the bill would have been more, except we went on 2 day excursions, which kept us away from our favourite servers.  However, I think we made up for it each evening haha.

he stayed with us for nearly an hour, and chatting about everything under the sun, before wandering away into the Caribbean night.

Séan smokes? 

My bill came just over 500.00 and my girlfriend in the 300 range I think. It was not just booze, it was t-shirts, CDs, and other stuff as well (least that what I tell myself) I remember at the Sail Away Party, the bartender came by with free Miller Lite cans and we all grabbed them like crazy. The buckets of Corona's went down smooth as silk that afternoon, thats for sure.

I've been at the bar with the guys on a few occasions over the past 13 years (I can't believe I've been following the band that long!) and I've never seen Alan smoke. I think he mentioned something about it in an old from the road. I know that Sean has tried to quit on a few occasions, but I guess it hasn't happened yet.

hah because that wouldn't get me odd looks or anything. Oooooooh but it also needs a note!  "Dear Séan, please stop smoking because I am allergic to it"  Yes, this would go over *quite* well. :D :D :D
