Hahaha. We'll meet you guys on board! If you are excited now, just wait until the winter months hit and you start to sink into a cold, gray funk. Suddenly you'll remember you're cruising in mere weeks and it'll lift you right UP.

One suggestion for any new cruisers departing from the north country. It's a good idea to fly in the previous day in case of winter weather delays. We didn't do that last year, and got lucky, but I did worry about it and the extra $$ for a room in Miami is well worth the peace of mind. Plus, then we can all party at the Sixthman pre-boarding party the night before in Miami.

I just want to add a HUGE THANK YOU to Great Big Sea (and BNL for bribing them with bottomless mojitos or whatever it took) for making this announcement before the pre-sale too.

For those of us who have had our fingers crossed for the past few months, it has made travel planning--and typing too! --sooo much easier!

I'm so looking forward to the music, the cast of characters, the environment, the sun, the heat and the vacation even more than last year. Is that even possible...?

Hey folks - I see it looks like a lot of people are talking about the cruise this year, so I thought I would bring this up: Sixthman typically offers people a 100$ credit for referring a new cabin (everyone in the cabin has to be entirely new to sixthman). Yes, yes it is Vancouver Lilly!!  Won't it be fun to have her along?  Stephanie is her mom, and she's a wonderful lady.  I'm totally looking forward to it!  I've become good friends with the entire family (Lilly has a sister, Jaimen, who is equally cool) and we chat and visit regularly.

Josh is doing great.  He lives with his girlfriend (and my Granddogger) in Fremont, which is a very cool neighbourhood just north of Seattle.  His health is fine now.  He and Anica both work and go to school.

It will be great to see you on the cruise, although I imagine we'll hook up at some as-yet-unscheduled fall shows as well.  I'm just guessin...
