That's so funny, Lisa, cause I'm the complete opposite.  Soul patches make me wanna grab the bearer by the ears and say "LOOKIT!  Grow a beard or don't!  Pick one!  Make a commitment!"  A full beard isn't as scratchy as it looks-it actually can be quite soft!  The hubster currently sports a full beard, and I don't mind it at all, so long as he keeps it neat.  I'd never tolerate a soul patch tho!  I'd be like "Um, honey?  ya missed a spot!"  Ah well, to each her own!

LOL Sharn... see opposite on things but still friends...

Funny Tina... verrry verrrry funny... gotta remember that at times.. see and I don't mind a well trimmed goatee... just a full beard... just don't like it...

Dang I missed the interview to... ahh well.. next time... maybe I should of watched it BEFORE my rant about beards... next time...

    New Link is http://www.cbc.ca/nl/

Then on right side banner under FEATURES - Twack That  (that's the name of the feature).  There's a pic of a woman holding a white shirt.  Now, when I tried to download, I had no luck - but if someone else does, let us know if it works.

I don't know what to tell you. I've tried the link on 2 different PCs and a Mac and the sound works...I hate when I get asked these kinds of questions so please forgive me but are you sure the sound on the Quicktime program itself isn't muted?

All I get is the sound, no picture. I do get a message saying that Quicktime is missing some file but can not get it from the  quicktime server.

Maybe Molly is having the same problem.

Try downloading a newer version of Quicktime. It fixed my problem.

A newer version of Quicktime may solve the problem. I also discovered that if you save it to your desktop, you can open it with RealPlayer. Maybe that would work for you, Molly. Otherwise, I have no clue, sorry.

Maybe you shouldn't worry too much about it - since your link itself works fine I guess you are absolutely right that the latest Quicktime version should solve the problems ... and that's freeware and easy to get!

i agree...although, on the rare occasion when my bf shaves everything, he leaves the patch, because according to him the one time he shaved it off, it hurt and got irritated...i guess it would, not that i would know lol...but usually he has the beard, and i love it. and except in the early stages where it hurts like hell...it really is quite soft most of the time lol....however, despite my love of facial hair.....im not so sure i like it much on alan, not that it matters....just looks slightly....strange..... Hmm

anything worth having is worth some sacrifice....
