    Yep, that's the stuff!  I was really glad I took the time to scribble it down as I made it.

    Folks, if you have non-family housemates, or anyone besides yourself in charge of cleaning the fridge, make sure they know what you're up to!  Even in a sealed container, soaking saltfish makes its presence known...  Oh, and stock up on cat treats or they'll never let you alone.

    One of my co-workers keeps telling me about the fries and dressing she alwasy gets when she goes home to St. John's. I'm going to have to try making that sometime.

    As for the Salted Cod, I saw a box here in our grocery store that was distributed from Boston,MA.  The box also read "Product of China".  I am not kidding!

    Here in Boston we can still get Canadian "bacalhao" thanks to our long-standing Portuguese community, but it costs a bit more than the Chinese.
