Re: What are you reading now?
I actually just read a great non-fiction book called Nathaniel's Nutmeg. It's about the Spice Race, where the Dutch, English and Portuguese fought for control of the Spice trade in Indonesia, and about how one man changed the face of the world. A really powerful read. Can't remember the author, though. Cheers, Chrystle

Re: What are you reading now?
I recently finished "The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown & it was amazing!! I loved Dan Brown's stuff from before, but this one was even better. Non-stop action from start to finish. Anyone who loves Dan Brown's stuff will love this new addition. :) Right now, I'm reading "Queene of Light" by Jennifer Armintrout from her "Lightworld/Darkworld" series. You may know her as the author of the "Blood Ties" series, but this one is just as good!! I'd recommend to anyone that loves faeries, with a dark & sexy side.

Re: What are you reading now?
I just finished "At the Corner Of Bitter and Sweet", about a Chinese American boy and Japanese American girl in Seattle during WWII and the relocation. Lovely, absorbing story. "Handle With Care" by Jodi Picoult- follows her child with an affliction formula, but as a parent of a special needs child, it shook me to my bones. How one childs illness affects the entire family, and the ability to function normally- and questions, what is "normal". Some pretty out of the blue twists that will make you gasp. Highly recommended. !

Re: What are you reading now?
Just finished Loving Frank, an historical novel about Frank Lloyd Wright, his work and his relationship with Mamam Borthwick. It's a bit of a slow read and I realize the subject matter is not for everyone, but I was intrigued by their lives, especially how they chose to live their lives. And in talking with a friend about the book, I discovered there are a few Wright homes in the area. I'm going to go check out one next month. The hardest part about finishing a book is deciding what to read next!

Just finished The Mephisto Club and The Keepsake by Tess Gerritsen. Fantastic books. I'm definately hooked on her medical thrillers.

Has anyone read The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo? I've heard it's pretty good but I wanted to see what you think.

Re: What are you reading now?
Cindi, I have it on my list of books to read. It sounds great! Unfortuately, I haven't had time to pick it up yet. If you decide to read it, let me know how it is.

Re: What are you reading now?
I am reading "Tears of the Giraffe" by Alexander McCall Smith. It is book #2 in his No 1 Ladies Detective Agency series. I really love this series & his books, they're always amazing with a great story line & characters. I'm not sure what to read next, I have a huge selection of unread books to choose from on my shelves (almost all Fantasy). I will probably start "His Majesty's Dragon" by Naomi Novik next. :)
