    The bean? I'm intrigued...

I love percussion. It's one reason why I'm currently infatuated with a drummer. *L* I'll get over it soon enough, though.

I don't post in French that often, but I use quite a few French words in my everyday life. Latin too. Yes, I'm weird.

euterpe -- good idea! Stéph would know...

I listed my instruments earlier. Wink

Euter, that would be "Alan est hot" (we say it like that here. laugh ) "Ca lui fait bien!" and "Mouvement vertical pour le Roi Alan!" laugh Sounds odd!

*L* Don't confuse him. I got comfort from "Trois Navire de Blé" because Alan had a worse French accent than I! Big Grin

It always amazed me how Mike Ford of Moxy Früvous had less of an accent than Alan... laugh

hmmm I have an aunt who used to be a French teacher. I have a children's tape that's all French except one song. It's kind of annoying when I get the song "Notre Arbre de Noel" stuck in my head.

Alright, the bean story...it was a gift from a friend. It's a little over a foot long and is and actual bean. It came from some sort of a tree, not sure which kind, but it was in New York somewhere. They dried it and it rattles, really loudly. They gave it to a friend of mine, who gave it to me after she let me borrow it. So, there you have it, the bean story. Smile I'm convinced that I can use it during GBS songs, but have yet to actually sit down and try. Maybe in time for the next AKP or so. We'll see.

Alan est hot! That one I can handle! Big Grin I'll be in France somewhere and be walking up to people saying 'Alan est hot' trying to find the bathroom. Wait, maybe that should be the one for vertical movement. laugh Mouvement vertical pour le Roi Alan! roi is king then? This may take a while.

Thought I'd pop in to see a new thread, and I must say:

You guys really like Alan. I mean like like. If this was kindergarten you'd be pulling his pigtails.

While I am a solid Mur-man fan, with Bobite tendencies, I must say, and this may sound weird, but Alan Doyle has the sexiest eyebrows. And one of them always seems to be raised, I think it may be stapled there.

Nooo, we'd be pulling them free so that the long, flowy locks could flow free when we chased him around the playground. laugh

OMG, I am SOOOOO with you on the eyebrow thing! They arch up just this one certain way and I swear my heart stops for a second. Or it jumps into my throat, I'm not really sure which would be the more appropriate, but it's one of the two. It's the arch that's in that black and white photo on Steph's sig in the lower right. It's one of my favorites of him. drool And, I must say, the Mur-man rocks, too.

Now, if he'd compared the boat to a COMBINE, he'd have gotten a better reaction probably.
