I can't believe no one has responded to this one! I'll give it a whirl!
1) The Dukes of Hazzard- I'd feel my brain start to turn to oatmeal when I heard the theme song
2) The Bachelor/Bachelorette: Great escapist and voyueristic fare, I'll give you that, but how "real" is romance when all involved are away from their homes/jobs for 6-8 weeks and they go on all these glamorous dates/getaways , no cost to them, AND, in the end, if a proposal occurs, the usually garish ring is paid for by ABC? and this is called "reality" TV?!!
3) Fantasy Island/Love Boat- Just that, fantasy...but peoples motivations were so stupid!!!
4) Just about any 80's sitcom about working class/blue collar folk: I seem to recall an episode of "One Day at A Time" when the mom is supposedly struggling fnancially, but each week she and the daughters had gorgeous new clothes, and wierd they can afford these trips to Hawaii out of the blue!
3 things you always seem to have money for, even when you are broke.
