    Echoing Anne's post about Jim Fidler

    Here's a forum post from Jim's wife Lillian;

    Great News!

    Fields of Gold from Jim's new album, Midnight Rover is getting mainstream airplay on 97.5 K-Rock. This is absolutely wonderful, but we need your help. Once a song is put into rotation it will only continue to be played if it receives enough requests. If you would, please send in your requests for Fields of Gold by Jim Fidler by either calling 1--709--738-ROCK(7625) or via email to: email@k-rock975.com. Request and request often. One request will not do the job, let's see if we can even get this into the charts. This is a pretty exciting opportunity for you to make a difference, thanks a heap in advance.

    And now, me.

    Let's throw some support behind Jim Fidler. Jim is friends with the GBS boys, was even in Rankin Street just before they picked up Alan. He also has arranging credits on GBS's first cd, and Jim and Sean have the reggae thing in common. Lets get the GBS fanbase to email some friendly support and requests for Jim Fidler's Fields of Gold ( put that in the subject line).

    Just sent a note to each of them Futon! Mr Fidler is one amazing artist...there are not enough words in all the languages of the world to discribe the beauty he creates.

    Futon,

    Is this on going? I would expect that you can't have hte same person requesting over and over and have it be effective so should I pass this on to other friends?

    Yep, pass it on, and if everyone requests once a day if possible that would be cool. Smile
    Spread it around! Smile
