    Re: A Game

I learned from my grandmother, mother and aunt.  I was 4 when I started.  I've never really learned from a book- but a few years back there was called "Elegant Stitches" that caused a stir on several needlework forums I am on. I think you can still get it on Amazon

    http://www.amazon.com/Elegant-Stitches-Illustrated-Stitch-Inspiration/dp/091488185X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1255306531&sr=8-1

    2. Chatting with Andi on msn...been a long time.

    3. Not actually to me, but kind of by proxy...my daughter was told by a pet food store that they'd like to carry her dog treats.

3 quirks in people that have struck you lately

    Re: A Game

1- One of my friends who adds the word 'face' to the end of friends names. I am used to being called 'Ruth-face' when I'm around her Smile

2- I realized that one of my own quirks is that when I'm trying really hard to stay awake, I tend to clench my jaw and grid my teeth (ow!)

3- This isn't a specific person's quirk, but lately, I've been noticing the different ways people act when they're on the bus. Will they take the last open seat or will they stand? Will they hang over other people to talk to their friend or will they keep to themselves? I find it interesting. Taking the bus gives me time to people-watch. (That's not creepy is it?Smile )
