    I can't I'm allergic

That's one I use! Only I say it like the kids did when I was five.  I'm 'lllerrrgic' (with an overly-serious look and nod)

    Apalled or shocked:

    1. That my office mates seriously view any expression of love of country as an act of aggression. (I get that this could break into a long discussion, but I already tried that)

    2. That the same two refuse to take an interest in the government of our own country because its "not entertaining like the US" and that "it[our own government] doesn't really affect us"  (really?  Looked at your paystub recently?  Been to a hospital?  Driven down the road?  Flushed a toilet?)

    3. This shouldn't have been a shock but, the line up at the Tim's by my work was backed up to the main road (winding it's way through a fair-sized parking lot) while the McDonalds next door had two cars in the line.

    Re: A Game

I'm not exactly sure what the stitches that I know are, since I pretty much taught myself, and kind of make it up as I go along, but I think I know satin(?) and outline(?) (It's hard to find good illustrations online). I've been trying to find a good embroidery book. Do you know any? Thanks so much for the offer of help! How did you learn to embroider?

    Sorry for the off-topic-ness!Smiles
