This was posted in Fidlerville, Jim Fidler's forum, by his lovely wife Lillian.
Recently, Jim (Fidler) was part of a history-making international recording project (the first of it's kind) much like Band Aid from the U.K., We Are The World from the U.S. and Tears are Not Enough from Canada. A group of artists have assembled to record a song in the spirit of world peace. Where this project differs from the others is that it is truly an international world-wide collaboration of recording artists from the podsafe music network.
The song "If Every Day Were Christmas" written by Slau and Orlando Pagan was recorded in New York City with vocal tracks sent in from all around the world. This collective is known as podsafe for peace. All proceeds from sales of the song are being donated to UNICEF. To listen to and purchase the song and view the very impressive global lineup of recording artists go to
http://www.podsafeforpeace.org/ This is a very worthy cause and a great honour for both Jim and Newfoundland please show your support.
Cheers!
Lillian
