 Whitehorse is one of my all time favourite places in the world and that says a lot given what I do for a living. Some of the nicest people in the world live there.

Alan's back with another From the Road. Sounds like you guys in Kalamazoo were treated to a great show!

"We also debuted three new tunes; Walk on the Moon, a song I wrote with my friend Gordie from Cape Breton a couple of years ago; Here we Go Again, a bouncy number about a cast that when assembled, can only result in one performance; Where I Belong, a song I wrote with my antipodean pal Russell about the constant emigration of Newfoundlanders to the distant shores of Canada."

Very nice Alan update. He's a great writer, very natural at relating to others, which, of course, is part of the reason he's such a good musician. I really like reading his tour diary and other parts of this site that are by him. Nice.

I love hearing about snippets of life from the road. It makes them seem so much more real, like not wanting to wander around the casino.
