Alanite...a mineral. Hmmm...nifty! *L* I like Columbine's description -- it seems appropriate! Lisa, it is a nice place to be, eh? I mean, we like to think so!

Re: If Bob Fans are called Bobites ...
Columbine, I love your mineral description. I was just thinking of the ORANGE PANTS as I was wearing mine last night.
(I made sure not to wear them to the concert, didn't want Alan to think I was copying him - I actually bought mine before I knew about GBS!)
Orange and sparkly indeed. Sounds like pure sunshine, and let's face it, Alan has a very sunny disposition.
I read an online review somewhere this week that said that GBS's music "bellowed joy," which is an apt description for the kind of sounds that comes out of Alan's mouth. So if we ever wanted to come up with another name for Alanites, we could think about that imagery as well!
Cheers! Nancy

Re: If Bob Fans are called Bobites ...
Orange pants were really popular about 5 or 6 years ago... everyone in my class seemed to be wearing them.
Personally, I don't like the colour orange. Reminds me too much of the orange, brown and olive decor in all our houses growing up. I don't like olive green either.

Re: If Bob Fans are called Bobites ...
I've always liked orange as a colour, but I like it more when it's a tad paler, if that's a word. I've always been a fan of Alan's orange pants, though, I must admit! Bobaholic has something against em'. Stéphanie

Re: If Bob Fans are called Bobites ...
hee hee that's funny. Can't say I'm a fan of those pants ... at least not on him. I much prefer the ones he's in in this pic. But I used to love the colour orange, when I was about 13, but never had any orange pants. I remember people had orange Modrobes. Now I really don't like it. Must have been a phase ... for everyone

That reminds me too much of Cannanites, and I start thinking of Joeseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
