Good things come to those that wait...and I know that living on the Rock means that sometimes I have a bit of a wait in store when sending or receiving things.

However, in my case, today I received something quite beautiful in the mail.  I would like the thank my Summer Snowflake for having the lovely Columbine create a work of beauty for me.  It arrived in today's mail while I was doing a 13 hour stretch at MUN...classes and working in the bookstore.

Thank you so very much for the beautiful necklace!  I put it on right away and I'm in love with it :D

With Bonnie posting that she's received, I am going to close this year's exchange. ONe person's package has not been received, but it's a mere 22 days before we traditionally start sign ups for the winter exchange. ( It's going to be late this year folks - we need time to get it going) and it's just too late to keep this one "open"

I was brand-new to the OKP and online forums generally when the summer exchange started. I'm way more comfortable with the idea of online friends now (was it only last spring?!?) and would love to join.  No idea what to send though...There's time.  I know this isn't the official sign up.  Thanks to those who take on the organisation of this though!
