I would like to revive this thread

I went to the show in NYC hoping to find different shirts.  I tried on an XXL by american apparel.  yes i could have gotten it, but it was either lose 40 lbs or it would never see the inside of the dryer.  It was my only disappointment of the evening.

Re: New "Plus Size" shirts? NOT SO MUCH!

Am I doing something wrong?  I tried to purchase a baby tee before this thread got started, and I wasn't able to specify a size.  I just assumed they were a "one size only" deal.  After reading this thread, I've tried two more times to buy a shirt, but I still can't specify a size.  Huh?

Hi Maddy.  Even though there is only one color available when you go to order (if you click on the green one, the green is available... if you click the blue one, the blue one is available), you have ot select the color first... then the sizes become available to select.

Good luck with your shirt!  I'm in the no-way-no-how-am-I-gonna-squeeze-into-that category! *L*

May be if we hold up signs that say:

    GREAT BIG FANS

    HAVE GREAT BIG BOOBS

    THAT DON'T FIT

    YOUR GREAT BIG T-SHIRTS!

NO BOUNCEY IN TOO TIGHT SHIRTS!

not that I have any concerts to attend this yearsad2 so far.

my sister ordered me an X-large "beautiful" long sleve T for my birthday last year, it arrived a large not XL and would fit my daughter who wears a extra small. All the dieting in the world will not get me into this shirt, but incentive just the same I leave it on my dresser and dream about fitting into it. maybe if we shoehorn our way into these shirts go to a concert and hold up the sign! (what a sight we would be, negative advertising at its best).

Angel  If I was going to the show in CT in august, that would be a WONDERFUL sign idea.  Actually at the NYC show, Kris was taking pics of the band and the audience at one point.  What a great tour ablum pic for the band, if someone in the front row was holding up a sign that said that and they caught it. I'm not trying to "beat a dead horse here" as they say  and revive the whole plus size issue.  just figured this would be a good thread to continue this in

the GBS woman fish T-s are on sale.  The graphics on the front of the shirt are pretty large.  can anyone who has this shirt tell me if the graphics are the type that can never see the inside of a dryer b/c they will crack and peel, or has your shirt gotten better with age and the inside of your dryer?

Gotta put my two cents in here - would LOVE to own one of the green mermaid tees, but in those sizes, it would be  a lovely green hat instead.  3XL, are REAL 3XL?  Please?  I'd pay extra, I promise.

    Cheers!

    moneypenny,

i got the mermaid shirt (signed by the fellas no less!) and it's been through a might of washings, and the graphics are just as good as ever.

Re: New "Plus Size" shirts? NOT SO MUCH!

just saw this thread - I got a men's larger size shirt inFebruary '06 when I went to my first GSB concert in Portland, OR.  At Bumbershoot last September, I got a hat (at least that mostly fit - I have a little head, and I'm 5' 2" and a size 16-20, depending on who makes it)  I've been thinking about asking people who post pics from shows if I could use a specific photo to make my own shirt and see how I could do - thank goodness for the Just My Size T-shirts!

Or Ladies - we could wear the tight shirts without bras and cut holes in 'safe' places to let it stretch - that would probably get somebody's attentionSurprise

That would be particularly funny if you put patches of silvery fishscale lamé under a couple of the holes!

So, Columbine (you naugh-ty girl!) recommend going to the Zoo Tunes thread and looking at HelenWheels photos, I told her that I recommend the following for pics on the front of these t-shirts Pt 1, 19, 39, 46 and Pt 2, 17 or 20.  The expressions are priceless!

Would it be alright if we put our own concert pics on a t-shirt? I have one pic I took of Alan in December that I'd love to get put on a shirt.

I don't know why you couldn't - if you took the photo, it's your property, and I would guess as long as you were using it only for your own personal use and weren't making and selling them, it would be okay, however laws could be different where you are.
