Re: I'M GOING TO NFLD! Help!

Thanks for all the tips, Alpha!

Well this is it, kiddies, I'm off to St. John's tomorrow afternoon! I don't know if I'll be able to update at all while I'm there, so I just wanted to say goodbye, hugs, I'll be back next Sunday, and I'll be thinking about all of you! Thanks to all of you for everything!

    Cheers!

Oh, that's right. Lol! Poor Darrell. Wink The PR is definately not a PG 13 place, nevermind somewhere a man should be visiting.

ok im from ireland and ive lived there for over a year and when i went there for hols in 2003 i went to the Johnson Geo centre SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DONT GO.
Cape Spear is great and even better is signal hill at night (when there's no fog). And the best place to stay is the Leaside Manor.
Best place to eat is The Keg

Re: I'M GOING TO NFLD! Help!

    Pete,

I LOVED the Johnson Geocentre! I thought it was fascinating. &*shrugs* different strokes...

And Bonnie - it's definitely NOT PG 13 and it came out of a need to be silly elsewhere than on the official site. Teddy's site in the UK is PWAOWAH - (People Who Are Obsessed With Alan's Hair). She definitel a Bobite though. If you look hard enough there, you'll find the Powder Room. Not much going on now though. Darrell ahs definitely been in there a few years ago. He made mention of a few embarrassing ...um... nicnames we used to call the fans of each b'y.

Try Google. And get ready to laugh your head off.

Re: I'M GOING TO NFLD! Help!

I loved the Johnson Geo Center. Lots of stuff to learn there, and they did it in such a way that you can find something of interest no matter how much experiance you have in geology.
Anne and I made the trip together...she as I recall had little for knowledge of the area's geology. I, had much more, because I had studied Geology in College and we both found tings to enjoy and wonder at.
I highly recommend it for anyone who has ever had a rock collection or who who like to know more about how the islad and the earth came to be.
