I'm looking for a good recipe for slow cooked groundhog.  Shubenacadie Sam predicted an early spring.  Stoopid groundhog!

Here's an easy one for cheesy potatoes:

Put one bag (or two if you have a large crock pot) of frozen brerakfast potatoes in the crock pot.  Mix one container of sour cream with two 8 ounce packages of shredded cheese and spoon mixture on top of the potatoes.  Cut a stick of butter into pats and cover the top of the cheese mixture.  Salt and pepper to taste.  Cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6.  Stir and serve.

Oh yeah, it's definitely a dish for potlucks or holiday dinners.  Certainly not a main course!  Although it is miiighty tasty!

    Re: Crock Pot recipes

Hello, everyone!  *waves*  I'm hoping someone has a recipie for some kind of breakfast casserole in a crock pot.  We're having a breakfast meeting next week and I mentioned a breakfast casserole my mom makes in the oven with scrambled eggs, sausage, and cheese.  The meeting isn't until 10-ish, so if I make it in the oven at home and bring it in at 7, it will be cold and unappetizing by 10.  I was thinking that if I brought it in and cooked it at work it would be better.  I know eggs can be cooked in a crock pot but I've never done it before.  Does anyone have a recipie?

    Sapphire:

Oh, I love my slow cookers (yep, I own two of 'em, a 5.5 qt and a 3.5 qt.)  One of my favourite recipes for it is so easy, it's pathetic.  Here goes, ready?

Sadly, before my divorce...I actually owned 5 - yea, five - one was my Grandmothers from the early 70s!!

Surprisingly enough, during parties at our house, I had all of them going, with dips, chicken wings (2 different kinds), and meatballs (2 different kinds).

I still have several so thank you all very much for the wonderful recipes!!
