I was very excited when Alan said they would be playing the Philly Folk fest in a couple months.  I am just confused because the Folk Fest is actually in August, and I was under the impression he was talking about the next month or two.  No matter.  I am there!

I'm thinking since the new CD was originally to be out 'early in the new year', Alan has a bit of a problem with the concept of time. Stick out tongue But hey, we can't all be perfect.

Welcome to the Pat McGee band. My first time hearing you and I really enjoyed it (and snagged a CD). Here's the true test, my daughter refuses to listen to anything but GBS (and Hannah Montana, but we won't go there) and complains if she has to listen to anything else. I heard not a single complaint from her while you were playing.

Avatar: As I said before, I don't remember the specifics of what I uploaded as my avatar but it was in 180 dpi and I think was 8x8 inches so I don't think it needs to be so small. I did learn last fall that way too big causes glitches in your signature though.

    Pat and Brian,

We appreciated your set that night and also appreciate your coming in here to tell us you noticed. Have a great tour. I hope the ride to Maine was not too harrowing. Glad all your CDs ran out.

Doesn't look like it. If you are getting it from your desktop, you have to click "update" after you've browsed, not just "Save changes". Could that be the problem?

I must agree that HOB was awesome. The best I've seen. I'm really sad that I was sans camera because there was a wicked Bob/Sean Dance avec Kicks!... I was so proud I could have cried. DanceBobbyDance!

    Re: Atlantic City HOB Show

I had a small camera that takes decent video on it there... but I totally forgot all about it... and since we were centre stage with Kim and Sheila we could have had some great video... The one security guard by us was pretty decent too... so my friend Beth had no problem taking pictures... wish I hadn't forgotten about my camera in my coat pocket...

ah well.. that Bob/Sean dance was great though.

    Re: Atlantic City HOB Show

Great show doesn't even begin to cover it!!!!  Having only discovered GBS last summer (" sigh" ..I know, I know...) on a trip to Nova Scotia, I can honestly say we haven't gotten so hyped over a band so quickly as we have with these boys. We started out in the front section, but had to move to the back so we could see them when a few last minute tall guys got in front of us, but we then had more room to dance around!!  It was absolutely amazin' the way it really felt like one-big-Kitchen-PARTY..... even if the HOB accoustics really didn't do them justice.  Can't wait to see them again.....and again...and even again!!

Thanks for the info on the new album.  Too bad Halifax isn't on the venue.

Getting to the party a little late, Rena, is better than not getting there at all!

    Welcome!!!

    ...yet! Welcome Rena.

Our time is coming. Maybe we'll get cool CD release parties in some of the bigger centres across Canada again--including Halifax. I was lucky enough to win tickets last time, 2 sets, through TV and the local paper. Nothing like inviting three friends to the best party in town. :D

    HALIFAX rocks! Woohoo.

    Thanks Kim!!

I totally agree with you, late is much better than never.  I can honestly say I've never been to a concert with that much energy before, and i know it wasn't just me, judging by the way everyone was bouncin' around!  :)
