I have a huge bag full of shells I picked up on the beaches of Florida's Gulf coast, and they are indeed amazing.  You can have some if you want.
Thank you!  I love shells!  But I'll wait until things settle down a bit on your end rather than request an excavation.

Love, Columbine (who wore a "scort" in 2nd grade, I think - I remember it was turquoise corduroy with gold buttons)

No problem.  I know where they are so just let me know if you want them and how you'd like them sent.  Poor things are just sitting in the bag right now and I'd like to see someone get enjoyment out of them.  Just PM me if you want.

You forgot to add your "I have never........"

Re: NEW GAME! I have never...

Giving this thread a *bump* and making an attempt to get back on track....

Like Columbine, I wore skorts when I was a little girl.  After I went to England as a teen-ager I adopted the European attitude that shorts on women are "vulgar" and I've worn skirts in the summer ever since.

I have also been to 2 "bad" GBS shows.  One last summer where I thought they "phoned it in" and one at Red Rocks a few years ago when they missed their flight from Edmonton and didn't show up at all.

And then there was the show at the end of the SB* tour at Mile One.  That was just plain scary.

    I have never met Sean.

    Cheers!

I have never met Sean either, and I'm a little surprised the that Shanty ma'am has not!  wow!

I have never cooked a turkey.  Still.  The plan was, I was gonna do my first turkey today, and himself was gonna take care of the stuffing.  Next thing I know, he's taking care of the whole bird.  While I'm eternally grateful to have a husband who loves to cook....I still

Have never cooked a turkey.  (Ah well, if it doesn't turn out, I have someone else to blame, right?)

Re: NEW GAME! I have never...

I have met Sean once. He came out offering people fruit, and for whatever unknown reason, I did not take any! Had my picture taken with him tho...smiling like a cheshire cat!

I have cooked a turkey...once. I don't particularly care for turkey, so it's not something I want to spend a small fortune to buy and then hours to cook. If I can go to someone else's house for it, all the better! (like yesterday at the in laws!)

Keeping with the Thanksgiving theme...I have never made stuffing from scratch (either myself, with my mom, or anyone else!...can't stand stuffing either...or cranberry sauce...such sacriledge! Angel )

Re: NEW GAME! I have never...

I have also never cooked a turkey.  Kind of funny since I've hosted Thanksgiving for about the last three years, but my Mom insists on bringing the turkey, all cooked and carved and ready to go.  Maybe this will be the year I finally cook it.  Happy Thanksgiving, to all of you fine Canadians, btw!

Speaking of fine Canadians, I have met Sean McCann.  Wow.  Totally shocked the life out of me.  We were walking out of the bar as he was walking in.  Need I tell you we then decided not to leave?  (Or should I say I decided not to leave and my dear husband and friend were kind enough to go along with me?)  That's about all I have to say about meeting Sean McCann.  Wow.

I have never met Bob Hallett.

I have never met Sean either, and I'm a little surprised the that Shanty ma'am has not!  wow!

He's rather elusive and I tend not to pursue. But I have stood at his feet over 30 times and had all the sweet goodness that is General Taylor wash over me like a stream of warm caramel...so thick and gooey and sticky-good you want to get it all over....mmm... ShantyMa'am. Definitely. But it's okay if I don't run into him in a pub or get a photo. Cuz he gives it all up on that stage, and I drink it all in. And that's enough. I've done the Thanksgiving dinner, soup to nuts. I love doing big production dinners...I just wish I had more family I could invite to eat it! I have never been to the NW Territories either, but I'd love to go too! Smithsonian is taking a trip next year, but it's like $12K, and that's a little rich for my blood... So has anyone been to the NW Territories? Andi and I want a full report.... Cheers! Janeill

Me neither Lisa.  Actually (and this is our little secret, so shhhh) I like instant coffee.  There I said it.  Waiting for the "coffee gods" to strike me down now.  I did have a coffee grinder once that someone gave me, but I used it for some craft stuff and well, it broke.  I just have ground coffee around for when visitors come over.
