    Re: It's All About Bob

What a really nice thing for Bob to do!  Thanks for sharing this story.  Your daughter must have been very happy about that.  I don't know if Bob has kids (none of my business), but I'm not surprised that he would be so kind to a child (I don't know how old your daughter was, but I assume she was young).

Hope you and your daughter enjoy the next concert and I hope he gets to see the t-shirt your daughter is wearing and sings for her again.

That would be cool, an I heart Bob T-Shirt. I think it's nice that Bob did that for your daughter as well.

How about these T-shirts Sue and I wore at a show in Portland in 2001?

Lurv the t-shirts!  They are right:  you really can never have too much Bob! (or Alan, or Sean) Smile

Did you get any reaction from any of the b'ys?

We got a smile and a nudge from Sean and a smile from Bob, who was in stern-look-on-the-stage-mode.

Well Anne, that something!  A smile from Bob, eh?  I'd love see that in person!  And one from Sean too - looks like the t-shirts worked! Smiles

This was in March, she was still 3 1/2 at the time...she was in total awe, the look on her face was priceless!    She also got smiles from the rest of the boys, and Alan came over to give her his guitar pick.  Yeah, I tell this story a lot, but they were just a bunch of sweethearts to her!

And we will be at the next concert that comes this way - hopefully I'll be able to score front row tickets again (praying over your keyboard right as the presale starts really does work!)

Here's pics of how she was for half the concert (oh, the thumb of concentration!  lol!)

I wonder if you'd get in trouble for wearing black ones with yellow letters that said BOMB SQUAD.  (At least if you used a typeface where the crossout was more visible!)

    Re: It's All About Bob

Hello, I wanted to coin a new phrase in honor of Bob. Which by the way is my dads name as well. I read it in a magazine, so how about any time you do a great job or a terrific job on what ever your doing or something your doing is going great how about calling it a:

    Bob Job!

or saying  " This Bob job really is Bobbed." I don't know if this phrase works it was in the magazine as well.

In reference to how brilliant Bob is or how wonderful his playing is and so on and so on. Any takers- what  brilliant thing in our lives can we call a Bob Job people?

Pheobz, I love the picture of your daughter!  What a cutey!  I can imagine she had a great time at that concert and it was awesome that the b'ys were so nice to her.  "the thumb of concentration" Angel.

Good luck on getting front-row for your next GBS experience!Smile

Thanks - I'm taking all four kids with me the next time they come near here - if my husband's good, he can come too, lol!  We're just one big happy GBS loving family here :)  But Maura is the biggest little fan and she did have a great time.

    Re: It's All About Bob

Anyone have any fun / interesting Bob stories to share?  He seems to me to be the "quietest" of the b'ys and sometimes I wonder what exactly is going on in his mind.
