I can't tell if it's Alan that is poking the horn player or another musician, but it looks like everyone was having a great time!!

My pleasure rounder I'm still all with the butterflies of excitement when I think about it! I was wondering if since I'm on the wrong side of 30 I should behave with a little more decorum, but as you'd be be able to tell by the *squeeeee* any time Alan was mentioned and the bellowed "YAY ALAN!!!!" at the end, I was kind of beyond it by that time. It was Russell with the tickle fingers by the way. Sorry about the quality, I filmed it on my compact digital camera.

HELEN, if all else fails I'm happy to burn a disc for you and send it, let me know.

There is a recording of Great Big Sea doing Molly Malone. Recorded at the Boulder Theater for the E-Town Broadcast in 2002. It was the encore in a show they co-headlined with Midnight Oil from Australia.

If you go to my website you can access both the E-Town Broadcasts ( 2002 with Midnight Oil, and 2004 with Catie Curtis)

I love this version, with the whole theater singing along. I am looking forward to seeing the video ~ I am still unsucesful at downloading it from YSI

Thank you Helen. My husband loved it. It just makes us think that we definitely made to be together even more. I am GBS fan, he is Midnight Oil fan. I am from Newfoundland, GBS is from Newfoundland. He is from Australia, Midnight Oil is from Australia and both of them ended up together on a radio show in Colorado in 2004 and now some 3 years later one member from each band is playing together again here in Australia.

Would it be possible for the original clip to be reposted - the one at a funny angle as I would love to see it.

    Take care,

Here it is Gilly and Mrs. I'm sorry Gilly that I didn't see this sooner. I think viewing it with the head tilt is cool. It adds to Mac's story of being there for the show. Just a warning that if you have dial-up, it may take a while to d/l.

Thanks! Worth the 27-minute download Smile What's with Russell tickling the trumpeter? Odd, methinks. Must have been a great show, with such a great seat! By the way, the angle's not bad at all if you have a laptop and tip it to the right Wink
