    Re: Testing

OK I can't resist posting 2 more pictures. The first is not a great picture of me or Cheryl, but Alan looks OK. It was taken in Cowansville, Quebec on July 15, 2000. The second is me and Cheryl with Kris and his brother Scott(from Crush) taken in Montreal on November 8, 2002

    Re: Testing

hmm, I'll cast my vote for height on the other end of this curve, mayhaps. Granted, there is probably some perspective at work here, but both boys present look to be at least my height if not a little taller; I was wearing boots that night that placed me at over 6 foot (I'm just shy of 5'10" flat foot, last checked, and the lift on the boots is about 4")... Alan does seem to lean forward/down in to photos a lot, maybe trying to make sure he's lined up in the shot with the other person/people, so that may be the case in some shots...

    Re: Testing

I could have sworn that they answered this height question in one of Alan's FTR or in a Newsletter or something. For some reason 5'10" is coming to mind but I"m not sure if that was for all of them or not.

Howard, I love all the pics with you and Cheryl. Doesn't matter how many times you've met them, every picture the two of you are beaming, even your eye's are smiling. Keep on posting Howard! Love 'em!!!

    Re: Testing

Great pics Howard! Having never been that close to any of the guys but having been in the front row right at their feet, I would guess they are between 5'8 and 5'10. My husband is 6'2 and they are definitely shorter than him. I'd like to do more research on this subject though Wink.

    Cheers, Mom!

    Re: Testing

Hey Howard, I think that's an awesome photo of the three of you, you all look so happy and the smiles are beautiful! You are kind to share with us, thank you.

For the sake of blowing raspberries at the male members of my family who insist I'm smitten with a pocket size band (the music and personalities are HUGE even if the b'ys aren't that tall) I'm going with the 5'11ish estimate. I'm very happy however to participate in any further research on the subject. Wink
    Cheers, Mac.

I think this is fairly conclusive in itself. And a very nice photo as well. Thank You. Smile

I'd be glad to bring my tape measure to the next show. Really, it would be a terrible hardship to stand there and check the height of 5 sweaty, male musicians, but I guess I could do it if necessary. Big Grin

Do you mean sans sole patch? I like the sole patch actually but it seems to be a musician thingy cause I don't know too many guys that sport one.

I tend to think The Doyle looks nice anyway at all, it's all about the smile and the laughing eyes for me. Anyone who can write a song like Boston and St. John's for their Beloved is alright by me!

I know a few that do, but when I think about it, yep, they are musicians! LOL.
The guys tend to call it a flavour saver here Roll Eyes not the best huh!
