I'm goin' Straight to Hell-On-Wheels!

Come on Helen.... you know you wannnnnaaaa !

Like I told my wife last year, it's really a once-in-a-lifetime thing.  Where else do you get to see the boys
before and after a concert ? and even mingle with them.... it just doesn't happen at a concert.

Imagine .... we are in the middle of the ocean and you know at any given time they aren't far away.... it's a pretty cool feeling.  I think everyone on board loved that, and no matter what group you were there to see, it was the same for everyone.

For me, walking around and seeing the different musicians, when you lease expected it, was really cool.

 For instance - one morning my wife and my sister-in-law were sitting on deck chairs, and there goes Alan, going for a morning stroll, and walks right past them.  How cool was that !  ( I even have it on tape ! ha ! )

I sat and chatted with Bob one day during an outdoor performance, maybe a good 10 mins or so.  Then one night Sean appeared and was with our group for a good 30 mins, if not longer... what a blast that was ! 

Anyway, it's a blast, that's all I can say.

My husband (Mike) and I are seriously considering it.  We went on Ships & Dip III, not sure if we were going to like the whole cruising thing, but we absolutely loved it!  Now that we hear GBS is coming back, it would be hard to stay home in February.  Our "sign-up date" is the 23rd so I guess we have a week to decide for sure...

Now that we know GBS is on board, We are going for sure. Our token is good starting the 23rd also, but we are going for a cheap interior room, hoping that there will be one that will sleep 4, so we can share with our friends. On S&D III we weren't in our room much at all. There is too much good music and entertainment going on. We'll save that extra money for adult beverages.

My hubby Brian and I will be there for sure... we were going to go anyways... but this just makes the cruise perfect for me.

We're going with cheapest room as well... they are smaller than on the victory... but we were hardly in our room... too much going on to spend time in there.

So excited that so many OKPers are gonna be there!

My husband and I will be there as well. I'm not very happy about the price increase, but I'm thrilled that GBS will be on board!!!! As it makes it impossible to even think of not going.

Ships and Dip didn't sell out for the first two times, so I would assume that it won't, even if you don't get into the pre-sale. A lot of previous Ships and Dipper are not going this year, but again, a lot have talked friends and family to tag along. I guess we'll see what happens. Good luck!

Ouch!  NOooooo.......stop it!  Ouch!  That arm-twisting hurts, ya' know, Frosty! 

I got 2 emails in the last 24 hours doing the same thing!  My arm is going to fall off!  (oh, its just a flesh wound).

My husbnad is even coaxing me "you should just commit to it - just Do it!" 

 It is amazing that i can still type with this upside down right arm of mine! 

Yup, I've moved from thinking....to Planning...

LOL, Helen you are a hoot ! , thanks for bringing some sunshine to my rainy day here. 

My dad has this expression, "twist my rubber arm" and it describes your exact thoughts haha !

You know you wanna go, .... what would happen, if after this cruise, they never did it again ? .... you really WOULD kick yourself.... imagine 50 years down the line, when you are looking out the window, and thinking back ... " I should have done it " .... :-)

Yup, sometimes you gotta just do it.  Anyway, I hope your thinking mode has gone from thinking to planning.  That's good to hear !
