I'm wondering if anyone has a picture of Carbon Leaf joining them onstage for General Taylor at the last show?  Or video?

I made the decision to see Sarah Harmer's opening set for the #2 BNL show instead of catching the last GBS show on the Lido deck... :(    Sarah was great, but man I'm sorry I missed this show.  I should have at least run up to catch a bit of it before BNL started...

 I'm at least glad that there wasn't a Mari Mac-off between Sean and Barry...I was waiting for one all week long and if it had happened without me being there I would have been so sad.

Ok...I'm a bit of an idiot...I just now looked in the PHOTOS section and found them right there!!  doh!

In that shot, Barry of Carbon Leaf is timing Sean's General Taylor long note.  It was pretty funny!

That was you?  I guess we should have talked OKP board names, because I have seen posts by Nova all the time, but I didn't know it was you.

 One of my regrets from this trip is that I didn't meet more people from this board.  We should have had an official meeting place or something.

I'd never heard it live. Now I know why people request it. The harmonies are amazing. A good trade for not having River Driver performed at any of the shows.

 I admit that the General Taylor with Carbon Leaf and Griffin House got kind of Sean-centric, so apologies for that!

My husband and I had a great time and if GBS is on board for S&D5 I am going to try my damnedest to attend!
 

I just wanted to put my hand up as one of THOSE people that might make getting tickets to GBS more difficult.  :)  I had heard the name of the band, but had not heard their music before they announced they would be on board.  When it was announced I went and bought an album, as I like to be familiar with people that cruise with me!  Well one album lead to 5 before the cruise and I just ordered two more today.  I saw them twice on board, the Sail Away and the last show, except for like the last couple of songs.  I had to wake up my hubby and get us off to the last BNL set.  Let me say that seeing GBS live is much like seeing BNL live.........once you do you have to have MORE! 

 BTW Alan's cabin was right above the cabin next to ours, and we had several chats for balcony to balcony, seems like a very down to earth guy.

Just to let you know that was one of my daughters in the front with the green t-shirt on (new GBS whale shirt).  I don't know if you caught my other post, but my daughters are 12 and 10 and had a blast!!

Great photos! I love the one shot you have of Ed shaking the tambourine, and Sean's shaker is hanging on his mike stand in just the right postition for the shot to look totally x-rated!  I must have been fairly close to you for that show, because I was subjected to a Ed standing at crotch level inches from my face.  I had already put my camera away, but my roomate is a huge ED fan, so I grabbed Diane's camera beside me for the shot, and then I had to turn my head out of embarassment!  Ahhhh, good times!

I had a great time meeting all the people I met, and I had a crap time with a fever of 103 on the last night :(.  I caught the GBS show, and tried to hang out and wait for the crashing of the Gaelic Storm show, but I just couldn't do it.  I missed all the main stage jamming, and had a hellish 2 day trip home.  Still recovering, but these pictures and videos are making things much easier, I had a great time.

Oh Krista - yuck. I wondered what happened to you. At least my fever waited a day to climb. Maybe I caught it from you. Hey did we share...anything?! LOL. It couldn't have been that dodgey-looking snorkeling gear in Jamaica! LOL. I've got The Crud to go with mine. Yuck. My stomach aches from coughing.

I'm glad you're starting to feel better. I figure I just need a few days of sleep and...yeah right!
