You're not the only one who had that happen. You're supposed to send the stor an e-mail with you purchase number and they will re-send the download url. I have done that though an hour ago and so far haven't heard from the store

Did that right away (it's what the email says to do)  But my email server keeps giving me an "error message" saying that the store@GreatBigSea.com is not a "valid" email address.  I is confused!  Never had this problem with the email address before, but I've no way of telling if my email went through. 

EDIT:  finally got an email to go through I think.  At least I didn't get an error message.  Apologies to the store if for some reason you get extra emails from me about this.

This explains what happened to the Gallows Pole they were recording in the webisode. I am glad, I really liked it and was bummed when it was not on the album.   Now the big question is will i get teh ipod i mentioned i wanted for mothers day???????  I will need to discuss if i should preorder this album or if it will be a birthday gift!

Nope.  But since I'm not the only one with the issue I imagine it will take a bit of time for them to figure it out.  I won't panic just yet...though I may need a brew or two over the weekend to distract  me from my craving for new GBS songs.  *le sigh* I feel the shakes starting already....

 EDIT 3:00pm CDT:  What is the sound of a GBS fanatic figuring out how to get her download?  Not quite sure, though my students all think their eardrums just popped from my supersonic high pitched squeel of delight at figuring out what to do.  Good thing it was a study hall day.  They're horribly traumatized now.  *lol*

 Okay...the scoop for anyone else having my issue: I'm using a webmail program that didn't have html enabled but was using "plain text".  Had to go into settings and turn that on and then an additional few lines showed up in the email with the link.  Awfully glad a bit of courage, patience, and grit helped figure out the issue.  Sorry to the gbs store for any spammy email (had to send a second email letting them know I'd figured it out on my own).  MORE THAN THRILLED I've got some new tunes to listen to so that I don't have to turn to over the weekend.  *lol*

I got the URL for the download.  Even got to the download page.  When I clicked on the "Download Now" button I got a message saying it was unavailable.  After looking at the email for the 10th time, I realized that an end bracket was part of the link.  I went to the URL in the address bar, removed the extra bracket, and all is well!  Just in case someone has a similar problem. :)

Yeah, that's my initial reaction too.  Belong sounds reassuringly like a Great Big Sea song.

Yeah, well, it would be a challenge to make a Led Zeppelin tune sound like a GBS song!  I LOVE Gallows Pole, and have for decades!  I can't wait to receive my download of that! 

Completely agree with you, Helen - of course it's not a "typical" GBS song, but I love seeing them show off how well they can perform in other genres. They are so much more than just a trad band, or just a Celtic band, or "just" anything.

And personally - and I am ready for a storm of spitballs - I like this version even better than the original. There, I said it. *runs and hides*
