HoneyintheSea: I've had lots of GBS dreams, too many to count! Some are daydreams I've had one repeatedly occuring, tho' not this past week. I'm at a party in a castle or something grand with beautiful gardens. Everyone is dressed up, and I'm wearing a nice dress. I'm drunk and I end up outside in the pouring rain sitting on a bench with the intoxicating smell of flowers all around. I have a bottle of something and I keep drinking. The garden is on a cliff that overlooks the ocean and the waves are crashing. Sean comes out and joins me on the bench and we pass the bottle back and forth, and I am crying, an emotional drunk, and the storm rages on...
I read the words this morning to the song 'My Hero' written by Alan for the movie 'Young Triffe'. As I read the words, my dream which I posted came to mind. I have never seen the lyrics or heard the song before today. Hmmm....some wierd connection?

The only one I've had was me sitting in a pub with the guys and Sean and I were talking about Irish mythology--Chuchulainn, and Finn McCool to be exact. I remember it being a pleasant conversation.

Here is a very 'Weird' dream. . I was at a GBS concert and Alan was singing "Lukey" and Murray turned th sprinklers on! The next day, I went to an assembly at my school. After School, I was watching Danny order Murray to stay there and suddeny he remember that he had left his bass at the concert place and started snowboarding on the grass! He went up the wall on the snowboard and went into the concert hall. We searched High and low for that bass, but all we could find was the school instruments.

I had a sort of GBS dream last night. It's been several years since my teaching career came to a crash-and-burn end, but I still have teacher nightmares. (I figure they're my subconscious form of protection against ever going back to that line of work!) So it was the last day of school, and the students were absolutely out of control, and I was going crazy, though there was a feeling of relief because at least the end was in sight. Somewhere in there, for some reason I handed a set of headphones to one of the biggest troublemakers and cued up the MP3 player to "Captain Kidd", and he liked it enough that he calmed down a bit. If my teacher nightmares are going to feature GBS music from now on, they may be a little easier to take! -Becky

I had this one last night: I was watching the old GBS DVD interview with the members, but for some reason Darrell was wearing this blue things on his hands. They looked like clips, sort of, he took on fell off one of his hands and landed his just held it. P.S: Why do a lot of us have so many GBS dreams?

Can openers?
Why not? Hey, I had my first 'successful' GBS dream last night (no, I don't mean it in that way, either! ): I was at this club-type place with Séan and Alan and Bob (I don't remember seeing Kissyfur or the Mur-man, but I'll bet they were there too). I remember sitting onstage while Bob was up there trying to perform ob his own (stand-up comedy? I don't remember, but it wasn't funny - it was a little scary) while Alan jumped excitedly from table to table (of course - what else would he be doing?) trying to introduce himself to as many people as possible and Séannie was sitting at a table (dressed quite handsomely - obviously thanks to all those swoonworthy concert photos people have been posting) talking to some guys and ordering drinks for everyone. Then I joined Alan as he was wandering and this guy that I guess I knew from school (I don't really) walked up to Alan holding a bodhrán case and asked him "Hey, do you have one of these?". Somehow I knew that he'd bought himself a drum but he had no idea what it was or how to play it, so I told Alan "He must be wanting to talk to Séan." I left Alan and went with the guy to find Séan, who was coming out of the bathroom as we made our way to the bar. He gave me the greatest, warmest hug that I've ever had, like we'd been friends forever (and I guess we were, in the dream, but I still nearly melted - he was a very...um... pleasant hug and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again). Then the scene shifted and I was at a tiny venue with my sister, mom and stepdad to see a GBS show (no longer buddies with the b'ys, unfortunately). I noticed that a lot of people were milling around in front of the stage and thought, "Hey, if they don't have to stay in their seats, neither do I! I'm gonna get me some goos photos this time!". I got to the front and shouted to my sister to toss me my camera, 'cause like an idiot I brought my cell phone with me instead of my camera. At that point they were finishing Process Man and I was standing more or less alone Stage Bob, so I inadvertantly caught his attention and he threw a couple of those C&P&G winks at me and flashed what could have been a flirtatious grin (odd - when we got to the venue his hair looked the way it did at the show I went to a month ago but by the end it looked the way it did last year - and I didn't think anything of it until I woke up and thought, "Boy, that was weird.") Then there was this bizarre intermission featuring Michael Clarke Duncan as an Egyptian sphinx right before I woke up. Hrm.
~Squeezy~ Bobby loves me, this I know, because my Seannie tells me so... "Alan's true calling [is] to be a whacko percussionist... to hit things with mallets." ~ Sean McCann
