I was also at the Tucson show with my wife and sis-in-law. It was our first visit to Tucson and we enjoyed the city and the theatre. We stayed across the street at the Congress Hotel and found it to be a really interesting spot.
Sis-in-law is living in Phoenix, and we arranged our vacation in Arizona to coincide with the GBS concert (we're from New Brunswick).

We thought the concert was great, and judging by the comments so far, it seems like there were a lot of long-time fans from away (far and near). The people around me were mostly new fans though, so I can see why the crowd would be a little less rowdy than at a typical Canadian show. I'm not going to hold that against them and it shouldn't take away from "how good" the concert was. Keep in mind....GBS were a loooong way from home in this venue.

After the show, we saw a few of the boys at Club Congress and had a quick chat with Alan (the first time we'd ever run into them after a show).

All in all it was a great trip to Tucson and an excellent concert. Can't wait until March for the Fredericton show.

Was someone wearing a pink newfounland GBS baby top shirt from Something Beautiful Tour? I think I asked you about your shirt in the lobby at the break before we went back in for the second half.

And on this board, were one of you waving a Newfoundland flag in the aisle on the left hand side of the Rialto?

I think it may have been my wife with the pink T-shirt.
Someone wearing a dark GBS tour shirt with USA dates on the back commented on her pink shirt before the show in the lobby as we were heading into the theatre. (Not sure if this sheds any light on your question.)
We too were staying at the Congress, but had no idea that others were meeting before the show. Kinda funny, since we ate at the Cup Cafe in plain view of the lobby between 6-7pm.
