If anyone here ends up with an extra ticket, let me know, my husband just said he didn't mind if I did a road trip that night, but now the tix up front are gone!

My roommate and I will be there in D-L.  (I got her a ticket for her birthday.)  Hopefully I'll end up in front row the next night in Westhampton Beach. :-D

That's going to be a challenge for us. It doesn't have to be that close but the hotel has to be in a pretty direct line from the venue. I'm taking my daughter while my husband spends the evening at the hotel with the baby. He's not exactly good with directions/instructions (you know, typical man)  and needs to be able to drop us off, get back to the hotel by himself, and possibly find his way back to pick us up. I've only taken a quick look so far. There's a Doubletree nearby but really expensive. There doesn't seem to be very many choices in the area.

Travelocity is listing the Sheraton Tarrytown at 600 White Plains Road starting at $99 (non-refundable rate) plus taxes.  It's an easy drive of less than two miles from the venue, and it shouldn't cost too much to take a cab if you didn't want to drive.

    Hope this helps!

You can look in Nyack which is just north of Tarrytown but it's over the bridge so he'd have to pay the toll. I believe White Plains is just south of Tarrytown. You might find something cheaper there ?

    Re: Tarrytown Oct 10

@ Fran: Have a look into hotels in White Plains. I live close enough that I'd never need a hotel, but far enough away that I'm not a local, so I'm not familiar with specific hotels, but White Plains is a bit more of a business center than Tarrytown, so there should be more options there. Travel between the two towns is almost all highway. Your husband would have to get to the highway from the hotel, but from that point forward, it's a very easy trip -- probably 5-7 minutes on the highway, and then literally just two turns from the exit ramp to the venue. Total trip time would be maybe 15 minutes?

Already counting down to the show! I'm Row C, seats 111 and 112, I think.

Thanks, I'll look into it. My husband is rather directionally impaired so he needs easy routes.
