Good morning.
I just wanted to let everyone know what a terrific first Christmas I had! I spent the day with family and friends. I opened gifts, listened to music and watched mommy eat lots of cookies. I got to meet two very special people yesterday, my cousin Dante...and Santa Claus! It was a very exciting day, and I was pretty tired last night, as you can imagine.
I could feel the love from all my family and friends, angels in heaven, and angels here at CHOP too. What a wonderful day!! I like Christmas :)

Good Morning!
So, yesterday, I took another walk...this time I went to the first floor of the atrium...I rode in the elevator! Not my first elevator trip, but the first trip in my stroller. I also got to see REAl fish! And, I was giving them fishy kisses :) Grandmom Mags and Bill came with us.
Yesterday I also had one full feed of Nutramigen (formula)...the goal is to get all of my feeds to be Nutramigen. Today I get to eat baby food!

Good Morning,
Well, I was all geared up to go for a walk outside yesterday, because Mommy told me how warm it was. BUT, I decided I didn't want to go. My teeth were really bothering me. So, we'll try again some other day.
I have been eating pears the past couple of days...the first bite always gets me!! I make a face, but the next couple of bites are pretty tasty. I weigh 17lbs 8oz now. I am up to 5 feeds of the formula...only 2 more before I am fully on the Nutramigen.

Just got this one! He went outside tonight!!!!!

Hi Everyone
Today, I had a hearing test in the Seashore House (that's one of the other buildings here at CHOP). We walked down there in my stroller. Well, I wasn't too crazy about them sticking things in my ears, so it got me pretty upset. I was so upset, that I ended up closing my eyes and pretending I was sleeping, so they couldn't really finish the test. Oh well.
BUT, as I was leaving, Daddy met up with us, and we all went outside!! It was almost dark by then so I didn't see the sun, but I did feel the breeze and see the lights from the buildings. I also saw some buses...I smelled them too, yuck! I liked being outside...much better than being in that hearing booth!

The indescribable joy in Kate's face of finally being able to have her son go outside is truly indescribably wonderful.

I thought that was the best part too. SHe is such a wonderful person anyway. I'm glad she and Brian have these little victories.
