Re: GBS: The romance novel
ana:Bob looks fantastic in your new pic and Sean looks really good too - eyeliner suits him . But Alan, oh my Alan - way too funny!
I KNOW, doesn't Bob look RIDICULOUSLY gorgeous? It was an amazing picture of him to begin with (posted by Megins the other day), but when you add the tousled black hair . . . it's enough to make a Shantygirl switch her allegiance! (Almost.) Also, I love that facial hair on him. LOVE. As for Alan . . . yeah. Alan got the worst of it, I'm afraid. But someone had to be the Great Big Transsexual, and Alan had the classiest/most dignified spoof so far. Besides, who else can pull off the flaxen locks? Young Spaniard, those are so cute! Especially Bunny Bob. He looks so . . . right in that costume for some reason. And that's some carrot he's got there.

That is not an excuse. I will never again be able to talk to my very young niece and nephew about the Easter Bunny again ! OMG Chiara, can you imagine if Bob ever read this thread?!!!!

Re: GBS: The romance novel
He'd probably get a craving for a nice, big, crunchy-looking carrot. Nothing wrong with that. Carrots are healthy. Everyone should have a carrot at least once a day. And it makes a great side to seafood dishes.

Re: GBS: The romance novel
You are incorrigible! "Everyone should have a carrot at least once a day" - perhaps, but some of us have a carrot more than that, and if you're from NFLD, you could have as many as 18 carrots a day!

Re: GBS: The romance novel
Did I mention how much I am looking forward to my August trip to Newfoundland? Finally, a whole province full of people who have a true appreciation for carrots. But still. 18 carrots in a day. Very healthy up there, aren't they?

Re: GBS: The romance novel
Apparently so, between the carrots and the cod liver oil, they're a hearty bunch!! You're going to NFLD in August? I am admittedly jealous right now. I've lived in Canada for 40 of my 42 years and have never been to NFLD. If things work out the way I'm planning, I may be able to go either in the fall of this year or spring of the next. Very cool that you're going!! Be sure to let us know all about it when you come back - take lots of pics too. From what I've seen, its a geographically beautiful place. Enjoy!

Re: GBS: The romance novel
FCYCMU! (that acronym DOES come in handy . . .) Yup, I am going to NFLD at the end of August, and I cannot WAIT. I will actually be there at the same time as Nova, and we are planning to hang out together. I will only be there for about 5 days, though. So I will make it my business to cram as much into those 5 days as I can. I am planning to take a ZILLION pictures. I'm a big of a photography buff as it is, and, from all the pics I saw of NFLD, it is a GORGEOUS place.
