OK I am going to my second show, and want to know how to get those personal pictures lots of people have.

 Is there some secret area? Do I have to rub some budda belly before I go? Great pic Loulabelle! 

Cant leave with out a Beautiful thing,  * my hubby is walking the dog today I am enjoying  coffee with out the bassett howling at me non stop ! 

You just gotta be lucky and meet them outside the venue. Get to town early and figure out where the b'ys might go after the show. They like to be "staggering distance". from the bus so a few block radius from the venue is the best place to look. Also talk to Glenn at the merch table, sometimes he knows where the b'ys will go sometimes not.

Thanks for the tips  I dont think I will be able to this time unless I hit them before the bus I have my youngest with me this show so no staggering anywhwere.  He is only 13 so not old enogh to designate drive or anything but have a great time with me.

MY Beautiful thing today is... All my Christmas lights are up and I am blinding the block once again!

THE TRUTH is Something Beautiful* - Finding out the Truth when I am in a very good place emotionally instead of finding the same thing out a month or so ago, when I would have been devastated is even better.

My SB is my principal. We had a tribute to Michael Jackson assembly at school today and my principal dressed like him and moonwalked across the stage to open the show. OMG! I love this woman!

A few weeks ago I went to an Anne Murray book signing.  I was pretty excited as I've been listening to her music all my life.  So when I found out that her autobiography was being released AND would be signing books at a bookstore near by, I just had to go.  Of course, have camera will travel.  There was a woman behind my friend and I who didn't bring a camera, so naturally I offered to take a photo of her with Anne and email it.  She wanted to pay me for the favour which I declined.  Taking/sending a photo is simply the right thing to do in my opinion.  Well today I came home and went through my mail, there was an envelope and inside was a $25 gift card to Second Cup from this lady thanking me.  Wow!

Around five years ago, I was at a Great Big Sea show and walking to my car we passed the tour bus.  There was this couple that was talking to Alan and they didn't have a camera and I had my trusted 35mm.  So I took their photo, got their address and mailed them the picture.  In return to thank me, they emailed me $10 in Tim Hortons gift certificates.

That is great Cathie, I enjoy it when good things happen to good people.  Keep up the happy shutter bugging.

my SB today is the labryinth is tonight and I am able to go then go to the gym to work off a few of the christmas cookies .

Cursed darn Rolo cookies, the baine of my existance!!!

My "Something Beautiful" for today is that when I opened up one of my birthday presents, I saw a familiar looking mermaid when I untied the ribbon. My mother got me The Hard and The Easy!
