    Wait wait waitwaitwaitwait.

    Bekah!

Boyfriend?  What'd I miss?  Where have I been?  Why did I not know of the existance of a thing called "boyfriend?" in Rebekahs life?

The boyfriend is new.  I've been trying and trying to get on the Tank to post about it with no luck.  I knew Shaun when we were in jr. high, ran into him once when we were in high school, and then completely lost touch until out of nowhere I wondered what he was up to and found his myspace.  He's in the Army now, and he's home on leave from Iraq until Thursday.  We've spent most of the two and a half weeks he's been home together, and things are good!

My SB* is Victor, my own BJMoose, because he recognises that I need music in my life. My CD changer has been broken since before school began. He says I've been coming home "tight" and he thought it might be the lack of music on my ride home. SO he bought me a new radio/CD/stereo for the car. Gotta love that man! And he informed me that it does make a difference in my come-home mood.

Anne's Brother in Law - who went out of his way to pick up a large package for delivery to her, even though I would not be home. It saved me about $30 in shipping and was muchly appreciated.

My sister. She's hardly at the okp anymore, so she probably won't see this, but she is truly my SB. The last two weeks have been very difficult and emotionally draining for me and things are going to get worse before they get better, and she has been with me every step of the way. Sometimes I need her strength and she's always there to give it.

Hang in there, Trace.  You are blessed to have such a wonderful sister.

My SB* for today.  Signed onto Facebook and got an update that two of my friends from college, who finally gave in and saw GBS with me in September separately joined the FB group "I love Great Big Sea!" with no prompting from me!  Spreading the love!  Big Smile

More hugs for you Trace! And yes sisters are wonderful. I'm fortunate to be blessed with two. One on the other side of the country and one just around the corner from me. We all got much closer when one of them was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease. We have each others backs and we lovingly hold each others hearts against the world. Definitely something beautiful!!!!

Re: Has 'Something Beautiful' happened to you today?

My family went with me to their first GBS show last night in Denver.  Here is our happy goofy gang in the front row.  John was wearing his SB* t shirt, and the guys added Something Beautiful* to the set by special request...it was a Beautiful Night all around!

Sean gave Joey and Molly picks at the start of the show, and today at school Joey's msuic class got to use the guitars for the first time...and he still had his pick in his pocket - so he got to play with Sean McCann's pick at school today - and he got to tell his music teacher and buddies all about it!  He told me the other kids had round picks that the teacher gave them and he thought it was so cool to be using  the one he got at the show!  Pretty cool for a third grader.  So thanks to Sean for his Random Act of Kindness...

And to Kris - who gave Joey a pair of sticks before the encores...

And to Alan - who said "Hello" to the Children!

SPOILED ROTTEN at their first show.  That was a lot of Beautiful things that happened.  And just to share my JOY with my family and see them having such a good time was wonderful!

    I am still smiling!

Re: Has 'Something Beautiful' happened to you today?

I never thought I'd be grateful for a credit card company. But Citibank was wonderful to me today.  You see I have been out of work for the better part of two weeks with  severe bronchitis and am short of money this month. So when I got my bill with a payment that literally double my payment amount....I panicked and called them. Canceled something that caused overages and told the young lady what was the issue.  She put me on hold and did a few things and cut my payment in half - back to what it usually is. Which will be a BIG help this month. I didn't ask her to, but she did it out of the goodness of her heart.

I wish she would have given me her name so I could tell her Boss how kind she was, but she didn't.   So I figured I'd tell you all here.
