It really was incredible. I went on the first two and am desperately trying to find a way to go on S&D V. (BTW, my referral is iambe if you want to help me ) and I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone who loves music. The GBS sail away show made me a convert, I was so overwhelmed by their live show! I mean, I already liked the music, but the live show was amazing. I'll be seeing them when they come to town in October, and I NEVER go to concerts so that's a big deal for me.

I know what you mean about your new found addiction! That was me a decade ago. Just so you know, this probably won't be a passing fancy. GBS gets in the blood. I will likely miss the tour this year, but I'm nothing less than THRILLED that GBS decided to do the cruise again.

LOL My husband and I are booked on for the first time.  We are counting down the days also. Can't wait.

Krista! I rarely get a good laugh in before 8 am. Ha! I'll see you your glass of Merlot and raise you two Miami Vices. You know us bright lights we like hot bands, flashy drinks and barenaked photos...okay make that three Miami vices.

I always get depressed at the end of summer but not this year as we have the cruise to look forward to.  Just curious if everyone has already booked their air fare; we haven't yet.  I reckon the best way is to go with Air Tran through Ships and Dip.  Curious too how many are going to the pre-party the night before?  We're thinking of doing that.  My fear is some big snow storm and not being to get down there the morning before we sail.  That would be awful.  Yeah, I'm a worrier; plus it's a good excuse to go down a day early.  We're spending enough $$, what's a little more?    Will be great to meet everybody!!

We flew in the morning of this year but it was a bit nerve wracking, so I don't recommend it. I think most people fly in the day before. Tosh was on our flight down and he didn't seem the least bit anxious though... lol. ;)  There's no Air Tran service out of Halifax. We'll have to get a connecting flight or fly direct to Fort Lauderdale and travel south from there.

No plans for the pre-part-ay yet b/c we don't know when we're arriving.
 

Thanks for your input, Tina.  I agree that coming down the morning of will be too nerve wracking.  You got to fly with Tosh - how lucky!

Putting my $0.02 in - I flew in the morning of the cruise. Picked the earliest available flight, basically didn't sleep the night before. It was fine; planning to do it again, I think.

Then again, I'm only two-odd hours away from FL by plane, so the margin is pretty good.
