I've been fiddle-farting around with whistle parts for GBS songs. I know for Boston and St. John's he Bob uses a low D whistle, but it sounds fine when played on a regular D whistle (only an octave higher than the recording) I believe the notes are E - F# - A - B - A - F# - E E - F# - A - B - A - High D- High E - High D - B - A - F# - E
I think that is what I've got so far. Let me know if that sounds good or not.
