Personally, I would like to look at everyone's photos and read everyone's stories, but when they are scattered all over the place, I lose interest in looking in so many different places too. Unfortunately it happens a lot. People get excited about posting their stuff. Sometimes it's because they want a separate thread but it's often because the second (or third) person posting doesn't bother to look to see if there is already a thread going on the subject.
The good news is that the moderators usually do get around to combining the threads. It's better that way so that we can follow just one "conversation", only have to look in one place, and often a question may arise in one thread that's answered in another.
The bad news is that this causes unnecessary work for the moderators and it would just be easier if we kept all of one show or discussion in one thread, especially when it's a current topic IMO.
