Enter the text you want to appear for the user to click on.  (This can be the actual URL or it can be the name of the page or whatever you want it to be.)

Example: Link to the Great Big Sea homepage 

Highlight the text you want to link: 

Click on the little chain link icon: 

The Link Wizard window will appear:

 

Enter or paste the web address of the site you want to link to.  Example: http://www.greatbigsea.com/

Select Open link in new window from the Target window dropdown menu.

Click Insert.

Result:  The text will be linked:  Link to the Great Big Sea homepage. When users click on it it will open in a new window so they can view the link AND stay in the OKP.

I don't have the chain icon when I'm in the Edit window. What's up with that? Help, please! I don't have ANY tool bar when I'm writing a post!
