    Re: GBS dreams?

I had a dream me, my mom, and the vice prinicipal of my school were going to a swimming pool together. My vice prinicipal was in two forms, real and imaginary and we never went swimming but we walked down the street and saw Murray and I yelled his name and he gave my mom a pat on the back. Then my friend came down the street singing. (I was still with Murray)

Dream #2: Bob was on a panel of the investigators researching the plane crash into the Hudson River. He was giving a panel speech on why birds fly into aircraft engines.

This makes sense to me too...they think it might have been Canadian geese that flew into the engine!

(I had been out shoveling right before the accident when a gaggle (?) of geese flew overhead, and I thought, shouldn't they have flown south already?   Then it hit me, Canadian geese in New York.  We are south!)

    Re: GBS dreams?

Had a partial GBS dream last night.

At some point the boys took a break, and Alan and Sean (wearing a hoodie) went out to have a smoke, and trying to avoid the fans looking for them they clambered into a big dumpster.  Didin't work - someone saw them from above and people started running for the dumpster as they climbed out.

    Re: GBS dreams?

I had one the other night.

Alan and I were talking (normal enough eh?) about some random thing; hockey I believe, when out of the blue he asks me "What do you think of my friend Greg?"

I didn't know how to answer, thinking 'why would you ask me about him when we're talking about hockey?", so all I said was, "He's alright I s'pose, but he's not half as good looking as you."

I don't know if that was the kind of answer he was looking for, but he smiled, so my answer couldn't have been all that bad.

    Re: GBS dreams?

I had one that I was on vacation and we ran into Alan, who had short hair, no beard and a different voice. He signed an Autograph for me and said that he had heard about me and wasn't sure if he'd like me or not. But I guess he did. Later, we went to the beach and sat in the water with a few other people. (I think Mike Ford of Moxy Fruvous was there as well, but I can't fully remember) Alan said that he had a different role in Robinhood now, where he needed to have short hair and a no beard. (What?!) He was taking a break from filming (Don't ask me why) We had to say numbers for some reason when we were in the ocean, (It was something to do with Robinhood though) I said "5" and someone else said "7" which I didn't like because it's my least favourite number. There were train tracks in the ocean and a train past us in the distance because there were train tracks a long way away from us to, I was worried a train was going to come on the train tracks close to us though.

After sitting in the ocean for a little while, Alan said "bye" to me and we went back to the hotel. I walked with Mike Ford on the way back and I told him that I fell off an inflatable dolphin once.

When we got back to the hotel, I sat in a chair outside and my friend was there and Alan was playing live music , but I didn't know that.

That was a long and weird dream.

    G.

    Re: GBS dreams?

I must be jonesing for a GBS show, because I had an Alan dream last night!

I was outside some type of 'pub and grub' place, very rustic looking, people were congregating outside around some picnic tables, when I saw Alan.  I ran up to him and said "Hi ALan!" and shook his hand.  He still had the full thick beard from the Robin Hood filming and looked very "bulked up".  I thought (in my dream) that he would make a great Beorn in the new The Hobbit movie!

    Re: GBS dreams?

I had this dream that I was going to see a GBS concert with my class at school, I was late because I was looking for my camara and couldn't find it. My friend and I looked for it. We finally found it.

We could hear the music all the way done the street.

When I got to the concert, Alan noticed me and directed for me to stand in front of him. During the encore, some of my classmates went on stage with them, I got to too, I went on swing when I was down there.

I was disappointed that it was just a dream.

    Re: GBS dreams?

I had my first-ever Great Big Sea dream the other night. I fell asleep reading the "you know you're a Great Big Sea fan when..." thread and that's probably why I had the dream.

Well, in my dream, I was really excited because I was going to a GBS concert. When I got there, the venue was a gigantic kitchen. Not just a kitchen that was large, but a kitchen made for giants.(Talk about a kitchen party!) My dream skipped right over the concert   to afterwards. I got an autograph from Alan, but for some reason he had medium length curly hair. When I looked at the autograph, I realized that he hadn't signed it, but drawn a treasure map. Unfortunately, I woke up before I got to find out where it led.

    Re: GBS dreams?

I've had a couple of GBS dreams so far

I've had a dream about Bob:He moved in next door to my grandparents. In real life my uncle lives next door to my grandparents. For some reason he had to sell his house and Bob bought it and moved in.Also, for some reason my mother and I were living with my grandparents.Anyway,my uncle had built a swingset and a treehouse for his daugher but she grew up and moved away and my cousins who were closer to my age and I used them (I was still a little girl in my dream). We watched Bob move in and my other cousins decided they didn't like him and started causing mischeif around the property when Bob wasn't looking. They broke windows and spray painted the shed and things like that.I didn't join in because I was afraid that we would get caught and get in trouble with my grandfather who was very strict.I kept telling them that it wasn't a good idea to do that and I was going back to my grandparents house when all of a sudden who should come but Bob hollaring and cursing telling us to get off his property and that he was going to tear down our swing set and tree house then he grabbed a stick from the woodpile and said he'd use it if he ever caught us there again.Of course we were scared to death of him after that,me especially. So one day we were going swimming and we were taking a short cut through his property and he came out of the shed so the oldest one in the group hollared "Its Old  Man Hallett run"! and then we all started running and I was almost back to my grandparents house then I tripped and fell. Then I woke up.

Theres a part two to this dream......Bob was looming over me smiling and he picked me up then he started laughing then he said "Old Man Hallett,is that what you guys call me"?Then he explained that he knew my grandfather and that I wasn't a bad kid but he wasn't so sure about the rest of them and that he wasn't a bad guy and that I didn't have to run when I saw him. After that I calmed down.I asked him if was really going to tear down the swingset and treehouse. He told me he wasn't he said they looked pretty old and rickety and he was going to fix them up.Then he took me back to my grandparents house.I was watching him fixing them up,Then I woke up.

Pretty crazy dream eh? Sorry this was so longBig Smile

    Re: GBS dreams?

I've got to say that I like the "Old Man Hallett" thing too.

I had another GBS dream the other day. (Strange. I'd never had any, and then I have two really close together) It was just a very simple dream. I was sitting in a pub with Sean and House (from the TV show) talking about Twitter. That's all it was. Very strange.

    Re: GBS dreams?

I had one a couple of nights ago about going to see GBS, but then I realized I was dreaming and decided it should be a terrible show. Alan started into "Genius of Love" by the Tom Tom Club and Sean punched him in the face, so they took a set break. Alan came back and sang "Moon River" with an ice pack over his nose.

It could've been funnier, but my neighbor was in a bad mood yesterday and so was very loud and I woke up shortly after I'd called my friend for a ride because things were so weird. I remember my friend saying "yeah, the Great Big Royal Nonesuch" before I woke up.
