I made a bunch of shirts (for another purpose, obviously) on Zazzle.com. They're pricier than most similar services (like cafepress), but the shirts are top-quality pre-shrunk. Hell, I might just go see about making one for myself tonight. It only takes about 5 minutes. They don't have red, though.

Husband says to check out www.thinkgeek.com, where they have "Hello, My Name Is ____" shirts that you can write on. It's a thought.

I'm probably going to avoid the cattle calls for the excursions...seems like exactly what I hate about the cruising concept.  I'd rather find my own adventures than have some perky cruise director thinking for me. 

Tina - Glad to hear that you had a nice time on the boat and didn't feel compelled to join a pre-fabricated adventure.

 Gina - Hello!  Nice to see you around here again!  And no fair blaming me for your decision to join the cruise...I'm trying hard not to be a bad influence!  ;-)  I'll look forward to seeing you and the hubby on board!

I'll join you in hoping they're on VII and IX, XI, XIII, XV + any other randomly selected number BNL may come up with! If GBS is there. We're there. It was the best vacation EVER. Everything I love was in one (constantly moving) place: good food to be had at any time which I didn't have to cook myself, the ocean around me, Great Big Sea playing & socializing, drinks served with a smile, hot Caribbean sun, lounge chairs, fun, laughter, snorkeling, acting retarded (yes that is the right word), getting caught on video in a way one can never live down, entertainment everywhere, sleeping in--just a glorious week of choose, choose, choose, choose, choose!

As for tees I'm working on some mermaid designs. If I come up with anything good, I'll post a link.

Thanks for the info Tina. We are so excited at our house, but I don't think the reality of it will set in for quite a while. Once we get closer, and winter comes again, I'm sure it will be more real!

This is all still so surreal :) In 8 months we'll be on our first cruise ship, surrounded by awesome people and our favorite bands. Can't think of a better way to celebrate our 10 anniversary!!! Can't stop reading all the boards here and on the Sixthman site, researching the boat and excursions and ports etc etc. Think my hubby is gonna take my computer away from me soon so I actually get out of the house *grin*.

Look forward to actually meeting some fellow OKPers on the ship :) I've been to a bunch of the GBS concerts here in New England and never did manage to meet up with anyone, so looking forward to actually seeing folks this time :)

ChainedBear:  I think we're neighbors :) We're over in 9085. Anyone else on the 9th deck?

Regarding excursions, there aren't any at cozumel that really fit what we want so might try to arrange something on or own (or with anyone else who might want to do the same thing :) ). There are 3 things peaking my interest atm:

1) An island tour - can get in on a tour that takes you to the Mayan ruins for a guided walk and then hits a bunch of the other scenic spots around the island before settling in at a nice beach with food, drinks and snorkeling

2) Sticking just to the San Gervasio Mayan ruins and/or XCaret Eco-archeological park

3) Atlantis submarine or glass bottom boat tours

Wooohooo!!!! I just can't wait!!!!!!

Nova - I'm very much with you regarding this "just walk on the beach" thing. Maybe extend it to a "and have a nice cold drink somewhere and just enjoy and relax" thing. We will be full of impressions from the cruise, all the music and party anyways, so I don't think that I personally need even more excitement ... Hope we find a nice spot to spend the day :o)

I didn't even get off the boat in Grand Cayman last year ... loved my time aboard the ship just relaxing.

My hubby and I are in 9636 or 9626 ...I can't remember. Hopefully I'll have it figured out by February or I'll be constantly breaking into someone else's room. I am looking forward to meeting lots of new OKPers on the boat. Last year I didn't meet enough.
