    Site Store question

    I don't even know if anyone can help me, but I'm having a problem with the site's store.  I ordered 5 cds two weeks ago, with 2-5 days shipping. its been over two weeks and still nothing has come, even though the money was taken out of my moms bank account over a week ago. I've been trying to get in touch with someone from the store for about a week now about my order have sent two e-mails and left two voice messages and I am starting to get a little bit aggitated because no one is responding, I've been e-mailing and calling asking for at least an order tracking number and want to know which company will be delivering it, and unfortunatey no one is replying or giving me any information. I sent 2 e-mails in the last 4 days. I havent recieved a reply. the last reply i got was last wed, feb 13, saying itwould be here by th 14th because it will have been 5 days. now its thursday feb 21st and still, nothing.  I called and left a voice message yesterday afternoon, and on the machine it said someone would return my call by the end of the next business day. Today came and went with still no returned call and i called again this evening to leave a message. It is starting to get on my nerves. I've e-mailed the store@greatbigsea.com and help@greatbigsea.com both. I don't know who else to contact. It's starting to get irritating because no one seems to be willing to help me out.  I was wondering if anyone from the board has had any problems with the store or if anyone knows if there is anyone else who i can contact. Now my mom's down $70, which is not a small amount of money, and no one will even reply to an e-mail.  I don't know what to do. anyone who can help me out i'd really appreciate it!

    I feel your pain because I know your pain. I have had problems with the store too. My sister and I ordered shirts last year, which took about 3 weeks to be delivered, btw, and even tho I ordered a size larger than I'd actually wear, when it arrived, it was ridiculously small. I emailed Nicopop and the store...several times. It wasn't until I sent an email stating that I didn't matter because they already had my money and that maybe the boys would be interested to know how a fan's problem is being ignored, that they finally replied and gave me a refund. But it still took weeks.

    I suspect your order will arrive. It just requires more patience than we should be expected to have! I ordered something from Future Shop and it was here in 2 days! But think about it this way...my son ordered a shirt from an anime site and it took 4 MONTHS to get here from Quebec!

    it's ridiculous. Never again will I order anything from the store. Good thing its not like concert tickets or something! This store has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with! I wish there was a way we could contact the boys and let them know that its going on. They'd fix it! I would have been better off spending the extra money and ordering them all from amazon. What company delivered them? I was thinking it would be the US Post Office for me maybe. But do you have Fedex or UPS or DHL up there? I'm thinking those are the only other options. But i dont see why no one would have provided some sort of tracking number. I have recieved orders from all of those companies and all of them sent me tracking numbers after the order was shipped. It's really starting to bug me!
     

    They gave you a refund even though the order was already shipped? or was it not shipped yet by that point? According to the very very brief e-mail i recieved last week, it would come that day or the next, which made me assume it has been shipped. But i may need to try your approach soon by "threatening" them because this jsut isnt fair. i thought i was doing a good thing by ordering directly through them...guess i was wrong!

    Rounder is the best place to buy them in the States. Of course you can't get the UP, PLAY or TURN from them. I have always had luck at ebay.

    that was the main reason i ordered from the site, because they had up, play and turn in a whole pack for only $30 and its a good deal. thats why i dont want to just cancel the order.  I was so excited about getting all the albums i didnt have at once.  besides, i think it may have already been shipped but maybe its jsut going nowhere fast lol who knows

    i finally got a reply.it didnt contain much info all it said really was that she would check the order and get back to me. but a reply is a start. i hope no one thinks that im complaining to you guys or the moderators and expecting anyone to have answers. i was just wondering if anyone else has had problems and who i could maybe contact. i dont mean to sound like a big whiner though, so i'm sorry if thats how it came across

    Hey itznic32, please check your e-mail as you should have received something from someone on our Store team. I also know that your first inquiry into your order was replied to with what we believed to be true of your order at the time. I apologize for any delay in the replies you have received, but your order was not forgotten and it is currently being  looked into.

    My advice which applies to anyone who orders from our Store is to e-mail the Store at store@GreatBigSea.com with as much information about your order that you have (order number, full name, shipping address, etc.) The last thing we want is an unhappy GBS fan and will do our best to reply to you as soon as possible.

    Oh, I see we replied to the thread at the same time. I know the reply didn't seem like much, but the Store wanted to let you know you have not been forgotten and your order is being looked into.

    ok thank you. I dont mean to complain but it was just getting frustrating. I appreciate your reply. I know the first e-mail reply I got was true, i never thought anyone was lying or anything. But after that i didnt get much response and if you know, would there be any way you could tell me which company the store uses so i know who might be delivering it

    Nicole, a few days after your SB* post about ordering all of the CDs, I went online and ordered SB* from deepdiscount.com.  I have already received it and listened to it many times (really many, many times; I brought it to work on my 12 hour day and listened to it over and over!)  I feel terrible that you inspired me to buy it and you haven't gotten yours yet!  I really hope you get them soon!

    This is blowing my mind because I have had only a good experience with the store (kinda). I ordered the GBS cd as a mp3 download. I got it but 4 songs are missing. I notified the store and they have been nothing but helpful although we still haven't figured out the problem. I hope it works out for both of us. I'd rather support the band directly you know?

    thats why i figured it was better to order the cds directly from the site, because i did think it was better to support the band directly. Thats why I'm not going to like cancel the order or anything. I'm sure it will get worked out. It didnt even bother me so much that i havent gotten it as much as that no one was replying. but i appreciate the reply today. like i said, im sure im coming off as a whiner but i dont mean to. I just didnt know what to do. but bringing it up worked though, and i'm glad! Smile

    Any business needs to receive compliments when they are doing great, so they know what they are doing right and can keep it up.  Also, if they're not doing great, then constructive criticism comes in handy so glitches and concerns can be addressed.  Glad to hear that things are being addressed and working out!
