You should have given him metallic lipstick to go with it. Maybe that's why he was so upset.

    Re: GBS dreams?

Last night I dreamed that I was at a Great Big Sea concert with friends and we went to meet the members afterwards and I told Alan my school name, but it was actually my elementary school that I told and he wrote something about it in the autograph but when I looked at the pictures, they were pictures of me and my friends not the GBS guys!

I had a dream that my Mom called and asked me to come over to help her make a big dinner. I went over and the whole GBS crew is staying at my Mom's house. Weird, very weird. Sean wanted Rice Dream instread of milk.

Can I just tell you all that this thread has totally made my day?  I've been fighting the need to laugh out loud the entire time I've been reading it.  I love dreams.  I even write down some that have an emotional impact on me.  I had a dream the other night that Sean was in.  I don't really remember it beyond us sitting down in armchairs talking and laughing like old friends.  *sigh*  Don't I wish!!

    Re: GBS dreams?

A few nights ago I dreamed a dream, the details of which are lost, about waiting in an American Idol wannabe-style line for several days with friends and family.  Among them were Bob, Murray and Sean. (No Alan?  No Kris?  Dunno. Don't ask me.)

Murray and Sean went about their own business doing Chan knows what, but Bob had a sleeping bag right next to where I had been camping and... um... invited me to join him.  He ws quite affectionate and snuggly, which was great.  Unfortunately for me, I still had some of my waking faculties about me (such as, "Hey, isn't he married?" and "Hey, isn't he like twice my age?") so I had to politely refuse his... company.

Damn my purity and sensibilities, even in the dream realm!  Perhaps I'm not spending enough time around Chiara.  Or the night mares brought the dream to punish me for some impure thought I'd had that day.  *holds out brain*  Look at this thing!  It's hardly soiled!

Of course, had I known I was dreaming, I would have awakened immediately, so I guess it's just as well.

    Re: GBS dreams?

I had a GBS dream just last night...I'm not sure why I was there, but I dreamed I was onstage with them, just rocking out and jigging (which I don't actually know how to do) while they were singing.  My husband said he knew what I was dreaming about, because I talked in my sleep; at one point I murmured, quite distinctly, "My name is Captain Kidd," and at another time "Here's to Charlie Horse," and then turned over.

    Nice, huh?

    Re: GBS dreams?

I awoke from an odd dream this morning.  It wsn't really GBS, but not too far removed either, but I think my brain was making areference to the OKP -maybe?

It began with my husband and I sitting around a cafeteria table in a college gym, after a Carbon Leaf show, talking to Terry, Carter, Barry, and yes Jordan and Scott(although recently both of them have left the band).  It was 1:30 a.m. in the dream, post show time, and I suddenly jumped up and apparently had to hury off to an interview...

So I went outside and it was the middle of the day on a college campus somehwere.  I went into the Dining Hall and said to someone in charge "I am here for my interview as Moderator of the Dining Hall"  and I recall talking about being an educator, a licensed teacher, and wanting to supplement my income.  And I remember asking what a Moderator does...and the answer was coordinating suppliers, employees, etc.

And that was it.  I don't remember much more

Moderator of a Dining Hall ?  When i was in college I did work at for food service in the Dining Halls for extra income 20+ years ago!

Was my brain telling me KITCHEN?  Moderator of a Kitchen, like the Online Kitchen Party maybe?

    Wierd, huh?

Yep, hand around with Chiara long enough and you won't recognize your brain. Contrary to popular opinion, mine was only slightly spotty before I met her. embarrased (I think you might have notched a few new soiled spots while watching the soccer playing in Akron. Surprise)

    Re: GBS dreams?

OK, i had my first GBS dream last night ... after about 6 / 7 years of not having one. And it was 100 % Frosty's fault for posting that pic of the new tour bus Angel ok, maybe partly mine too for looking at it before i went to bed but anyways....

I dreamt i was in the parking lot of a Tim Hortons with a bunch of my friends when the tour bus pulled in ...and i was like omg thats great big sea! so we watched the bus for a while and nobody got off so we decided to leave. when we turned around there was this lady and she was like "do you guys want to see the bus?" we were like WHAT?? umm sure? so we went onto the bus...which was empty...and were left to look around. I cant remember much about the bus....exept it was really nice, and it had a basement. (a bus with a basementSurprise...i cannot justify my dreams...lol) so we sat in there for a while and then thought what the hell are we doing in here? this is crazy? or something along those lines...so we got up to leave, and when we walked out the door all these people in the parking lot started cheering for us and we were like no. no. wer'e not the band and  i cant really remember but a bunch of stuff happened. then i turned around and saw Alan with a video camera saying "smile! your on hidden camera!" and then all i can remember is me getting really really  mad at him when i was told he paid the people to start cheering.

pheew. I think thats the longest post i've ever written lol.  and what can i say? my dreams make no sense whatsoever.Stick out tongue

    Re: GBS dreams?

This is not exactly too Great Big Seaish but it was because of them.

I had this dream that I was on my way to the Portland show with my family, and we were going to stay at the Great Wolf Lodge and there was a pool there but no waterslides (in real there are waterslides) I jumped off the diving board and then when into the change room and there was another pool on the other side and for some reason, a person who works at my school and Mike Ford of Moxy Fruvous was there and I did something bad and they were going to call the police.

I never actually got to see the concert in the dream, but it was fun anyway.

    Re: GBS dreams?

I dreamed a few nights ago that I was at some party and Alan and I were out on the back porch drinking beers and just shooting the breeze about absolutely nothing.  Neither of us had anything of substance to say, but we were content to just drink and chatter.

    Re: GBS dreams?

2 nights in a row? Wow!

I was at a concert in Seattle and it was outside in this street area and for some reason Bob was standing on the left of the stage and Murray and Kris weren't there. (Seriously, for a concert?) I looked at Bob's setlist and it wasn't the list of songs, it was stuff that I can't remember. But he came over and talked to me.............right in the middle of the concert! He said that Murray would be showing up but he never did. My friend was supposed to be coming as well but never made it.
