Great to see them coming back to Kingston, mentioned the pre-sale on the radio Saturday Night. I wonder if the listeners might get a better seat than me. :)  I'll be sitting at the computer tomorrow morning.

Does anyone know, can we pick our seats? I am taking my son and would rather be in the stands of the arena than on the floor... he spent most of the show at Bluesfest on my shoulder yelling : Jump around Mommy! I am fit... but there is a limit! Anyways... if no, then I 'll wait for the venue to put them up for sale. Does anyone know when that would be?

In Kingston the sale to the general public is on Friday morning.  Found that out from the arena's website, so I'd say go to the arena of whatever town you're going to for the info on that.

If you are referring to the Kingston show, then we have Floors - Row 1-12.

The Oshawa show is showing up as onsale even though it's not supposed to be up until 11:30am. I ordered and received confirmation - will it go through?

As of 11:01am I got a ticket to the Kingston show.  Saw it was rows 1-12 which will be great, I was in row 13 for the Tragically Hip show and that was using their website's pre-sale.

I bought 4 tickets to the Kitchener show, but it didn't say which seats they were when I bought them. All I know is that they're supposed to be somewhere in rows A-J. Will the actual seats be specified, or is it just first come first serve in the presale section?

Re: Canadian Presales - The Fortunate Tour

I just bought for Hamilton and had my choice of two batches of seats (aa-hh and a-h? - I chose the closer batch!) but not specific seats.  I assume our seats will be assigned once the dust settles and the good folks figure out where to put all the twos and fours and eights so they all fit together.  That's just my assumption though, I'm just guessing.

It says in the confirmation email that you will receive more specific ticket info in about three weeks. If I remember correctly, for the Toronto show it was three weeks to the day that I got my ticket info.

ahhh... didn't see the oshawa show up early. Saw kitchener go up early for a bit.

I was done and ordered before the clock hit 11:31... but if the site went live earlier then probably won't get first or second row.  Too bad.

I hope they honour the sale as I too purchased for this concert just prior to them realizing that they started the Oshawa sale early.

Re: Canadian Presales - The Fortunate Tour

Yikes, I didn't know that the Oshawa tickets had gone on sale BEFORE 11:30am ! Huh?

I logged on at exactly 11:30am, and bought 2 Oshawa tickets, and the clock still said 11:30 when my order was completed.

I also ordered tickets for the Kingston & Hamilton shows at 11:00am, and that combined order was done by 11:01am, yay !

After my long GBS-concert-drought of two years, I am REALLY looking forward to those three November shows. And it will be so great to see all the familiar OKP folks again too. Smile

    Cheers !

    Lucky you!

Glitches happen all the time - some in our favour and some not.  I'm just thankful that there are presale opportunities at all!  I'm sure that all will work out just fine and dandy.  Thanks again to the fine folks that make that happen for all of us lucky OKPeeps!

ETA:  For those that haven't gone the presale route before, the waiting is the hardest part.  You should have received your order confirmation today, but the seat assignments won't come for three weeks or so.  Hang tight!
