Pollstar is listing a GBS show in Akron on Aug. 16 at the Lock 3 Live Amphitheater. Pollstar's been fairly reliable in the past - at least in my experience. Hope they're right this time!

I'm really hoping I can get a ticket or two to this. It'll be show number four if I can make it up there.

Since I'm not going to Lollapalooza this year, I figure I might as well go to as many other smaller shwos as I can.

No word on a Columbus show for this year yet. 2 Hours away......happy birthday to me!!!!!

I sure as heck hope so......I live about 10 minutes away from the place....As for cool places to hang out before hand, I think the only Great Big Sea'ish place would be the Barley House which is right around the corner. It sure beats going to HOB or the old Odeon for convenience (if only for me)

I drive to Akron once a week for band practice, so it feels like it's in my neighborhood!!!  Here's hoping it's true!!!

Hey there.......We live in Ostrander Ohio just west of Delaware!  Good to hear there are GBS fans so close.  When GBS played Columbus last year we rented a Limo to cart 9 of us to the show.

Oh if they come I will be in heaven!!!  Only an hour drive for me from Cleveland!  I knew moving back north from TX was worth it!

It's not looking good, friends... a September 20th date has been posted, which hops neatly over our uber-hopeful mid-August date.  Pollstar seems so sure of itself, but I noticed more than one date on their site that's not on this one, so I don't know... Why would bona fide tour dates be posted there and not here?
