I did a search and couldn't find anything that answered my question, I hope I'm not repeating myself, sorry if I am. How do I add an image to my signature?

That's hilarious, Fran! I had a bir of a miserable day at work and snuck in here this afternoon and saw that. Couldn't comment at the time because logging in would be a big no-no... but it made me laugh when I needed it! If I retain the J. Duncan attribution, is it allright if I keep a copy of it?

Bumping this rather than e-mailing the team, as my query isn't urgent. I just fancied a change! I can't seem to change my sig in my account. I'm trying to insert an image, but get the following message: "We are experiencing technical difficulties(500)
Please note that you may experience this page during peak pre-sale time
due to the volume of customers visiting the site. Please WAIT 30
seconds before you try again, or click the Back button in your browser window to return to the previous page. we apologize for any inconvenience." This has been happening for about a week, at different times of day, and I've tried to use both Firefox and IE in case one of them screws up the code. Anyone else had this problem, and knows the fix? I'm using ye standard IMG SRC tag - I'm familiar with coding HTML by hand - and it's an image uploaded to my webspace. In fact, here it is:

Teddy, I was having the exact same issue and it was driving me insane because I was following the exact instructions that people had posted on here. I had my sig image uploaded to flickr and even thought that maybe the messageboard couldn't recognize it, and opened up a photobucket account. Following the same IMG SRC tage with that didn't do anything. Finally, out of desperation, on the photobucket image page, I decided to try and copy the "IMG Code" for the photo ([IMG]http.....[IMG]) and it worked! I have no idea why it would recognize that and not what other people were saying to code it as, but it did. I know very little about HTML coding, so I'm totally in the dark. Anyway, that's how I finally got mine to work, hope this helps! I at least hope that my ramblings made sense, LOL! Very cute smilies, BTW!
But for just one night Wouldn't it be great, if the band just never ended?

AH! It took it! i hope..... It's UBB coding, not standard HTML! To you that's gibberish, but to me it makes perfect sense. Different language, freaks out the script that runs the board (the gnome in the camera) when it hears it! Thanks very much for your help, hopefully I am now all smilied up BTW, I can't tell you how much it bothered me to cut Darrell out of my original pic! Teddy

Looks like you got it to work, Teddy...which is good because I'm fairly certain I'd have been of no help. BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do have to say this. The gbs.com team totally needs to look into adding your smilies to our list of smiley options! I mean c'mon...who wants a plain old when you could have an Alan, Sean, or Bob smiley bouncing around in your post??!?
