Tosh,

You should count Mr McCann in your list of "Great Men". His fans feel the same way about meeting/talking to him as you did about Mr Gainey. Sometimes he even indulges us And sometimes he gives us a moment that we'll remember for a long time.
My moment came Tuesday...if you get a chance, do this yank a favour and thank him for me.

After reading that tribute, I admit it, I wish I were a hockey fan.

But, I am a fan of great characters (men, women, beagles, etc. all included) and that includes grounded superstars like Gainey et al.

Give 'em hell in Vancouver tonight. :)

Tosh you are just as lucky as I have beeen, for a few years back I met a legend of m father's era....Guy Lafleur. I have a card signed by him to me, and ever since I've been adding to the collection.... Its amazing to meet the famous folks but to be honest thank the lads for signing my Fortune's Favour CD.

it's always fun to read your updates Tosh. Im looking forward to seeing your pet McCann and the other guys in Toronto on July 12th. in fact, if you can catch seann on a clear day (j/k), would you be able to ask him to sing a song fitting for a wedding day (other than scolding wife haha)? My lovely lady and I will be having our wedding that afternoon and what a way to start a new life together than to see the boys in concert on the night of our wedding. Thanks mate!

Glad to hear you were able to me one of your heroes. That's definitely a fringe benefit of your job. I hope you didn't get any dog hair on the merch, though!

Always good to hear that our heroes are real men and not arrogant types. I'll echo Tina's sentiment. You make me wish I liked hockey. Relax at home with McCann, enjoy the little one, and don't get any more injuries in the park.

So, Tosh, just wonderin' if you roamed on over to the airport to catch a sniff of the Stanley Cup! make a nice water bowl on top, huh! I got to see it once last year all the way down here in Washington DC -- there was a lot of security but I snagged a photo with it. No, we didn't win the cup: it was the special guest at a party!
